Dr. DiStefano's staff from the front to back were wonderful. I absolutely loved Dr. DiStefano! I was having tooth pain and she not only made me feel like she cared but that she was going to get my problem taken care of. The solution was a root canal in a tooth that wasn't even hurting. I found it hard to believe but it was true! She explained why that happens and when I got that tooth taken care of...my pain was gone! She is friendly, caring and KNOWS WHAT SHE'S DOING! They are the rudest, most condescending dental office I have ever visited. They try their hardest to separate parents from the children so that parents don't know what's going on during appointments. If you ask questions they make you feel stupid and talk down to you. They tell you that you have to use their "lingo" in the office and now make you sign a paper agreeing to it! For example, If you say "pulled" tooth or ask questions about the procedure their eyes get big and they get visibly angry. On one of our visits the dentist finished the exam and then casually said, "we're going to send that tooth to the tooth fairy." I was a bit taken back and said, "I'm sorry, does that mean you think you need to pull this tooth?" And he snapped at me and said, "what do you THINK that means?!" I have never, ever been treated like this by a dentist before and after 2.5 years of dealing with interactions like this by their entire staff, we've had enough and don't trust any of their recommendations. Definitely go elsewhere!

It was great!…read moreThere were so many details that Dr. Duran thought about when setting up her office that makes dentist visits so much easier on parents. Upon arrival, there is an iPad station (with immovable ipads) that kids can play with while you check in and wait for your appointment. When we were brought back (which was pretty quickly), there were TVs on the ceiling to distract and cute sunglasses to use as eye splash guards. My kids were especially excited for the sticker and toy that they received after their appointment! I also loved how our hygienist interacted with my 2-year old. This was his first visit and he did so well, thanks to her! She showed him each of her tools and what they did before starting to clean his teeth. When it was time for the actual cleaning, he was ready and opened right up for her. My other boys did really well with their cleanings, and Dr. Duran was great with them as well. They're looking forward to their next visit in June!

She knows how to connect with her patients and really tailors her visits to the individual kid by mentioning things she can tell they like. She has a very special way of working with kids. She is amazing. I am so fortunate to have found such a wonderful person who makes my daughter smile and laugh throughout her appointments. Dr. Lin the dentist is amazing as well! At my daughter's very first dentist visit she was really worried which Dr. Lin could sense. He left the room and came back with a special balloon for her which instantly made her feel more comfortable. He has a kind and gentle demeanor that makes kids and parents feel comfortable. Unlike other pediatric dentists offices, this office allows the parents back in the exam/cleaning room with the children which was important to me. This office is wonderful in so many ways. Another great quality is that they are very open and upfront about costs and what your insurance (or dental discount plan) will and will not cover. That takes a huge stress off trying to manage the health and finances of your family. They are very kid friendly, but also very professional. It's been 5 years now and even with all the cavities my kids have had they do not fear the dentist. From the receptionists to the dentists everyone is kind and friendly. I also love that they've never once scolded my kids for being a kid. They will ask them to stop misbehaving if I'm concentrating on the billing or speaking with the dentist, but it's never said as a way to shame the child or the parent and to me this kind of positive influence from professionals is essential.

The issue is not being rejected. The issue is wasting applicants' unpaid time while giving mixed messages about hiring expectations. If you are truly looking for experienced staff only, be upfront about that before having people come in for multiple shadowing shifts.

I have had nothing but pleasant and easy cleanings. When I have needed to get cavities filled the team has ensured I am comfortable and not in pain. They even provide dental cleanings for young kids.
