Honestly where else do you get that? I love the fact they don't double dip and that they alternate between using wax strips and just the wax to remove the hair. They do a very thorough job - I got into positions I never got into before in my life! (may come in handy for other things though...!) This place is a little pricier than what I usually pay, but maybe it't time for an upgrade. I will definitely try out their other services. I like that they have a location Yonge/Eglinton/Lawrence area (another one is downtown).

(Did not even realize my toe was bleeding until we left) Polish was applied clumsily, absolutely flooded the nail beds and onto the skin. The colour was pretty at least. For a complete amateur, they should not be charging regular price. Definitely avoid the newbie if you do decide to come here. Save your dolla for someone else. I'm all for people being new and learning but this was unacceptable. The rest of the staff there seemed very kind so give them a try instead.

Cindy was my stylist and she did a great job! She did a thorough job on the washing, it was super relaxing and my hair is super thick but she managed it no problem. Then we moved to the chair and she checked with me before applying any products (love that, some stylists don't bother to ask but you can prolong a blow-dry if you use less product and your hair doesn't feel as heavy). I had her use a bit of mousse for volume and she proceeded to dry me up within 25 min. She's very talented and skilled at what she does i highly recommend Cindy for her blow dry skills. I initially came across Medulla & Co on a blog probably in 2011 that discussed that their owner was one of the few in Toronto that knew the correct ombré techniques learned in Los Angeles when it first became popular and he trained his staff on hair painting. Fast track to years later and I'm still in love every time Jazmin colors me. The colors are always blended so perfectly. I even lived in LA and went to THE salon in Beverly Hills known for balayage. $450 US later and Jazmin is way way better at making it look more natural. I'm usually super nonchalant about a cut so will get cut elsewhere for cheap, but color is super important to me and want the best! Trust me they know color here.
