Can't imagine my family's life without them. We have three generations dancing together within a matter of months. My son, his daughter and I are enjoying doing this as a family ! There are so many opportunities from learning ballroom dancing or improving to preparing that special dance for your wedding! Not to mention, there are now Kid's and Adult Ballet classes. So many benefits from Social, Emotional, Physical not to leave out how much fun it is to dance! Literally cannot imagine my life without dance. Why not sign up for a free private lesson? What do you have to lose? Better yet, what might you gain?

She knows me and my limits more than I do. I mean, it's her reputation and her wedding, so I need to get this one right. She made the reservations and I got there early- and was greeted by the staff to a studio walk through, complimentary beverage, and a basic interview of previous dancing experience. Aside from various high school dances, prom and my own wedding a lifetime ago... my dancing resume is sparse and lacking. No worries. They listened to the song we chose and thought we should go with a mix of the American & Viennese waltz. No pressure. The studio wasn't huge, but once I got to it I realized it didn't need to be. My daughter and I shared the floor with 2 other couples dancing as well, and it was enough room for them to be safely down range of me and my two left feet. But honestly, by the end of the lesson I could do what the Instructor asked, kept time and my framing, and my daughter's embarrassment was being counteracted one STEP at a time (what I did there). We have another lesson before the big day, but even after the wedding I think I'll set my wife and I up for some lessons so I'll be prepared for the next event that comes up. + Plenty of parking + They go over what you learned and what to work on before the next lesson + Reasonable prices + VERY friendly staff I'll be back.

We attended 1 combo 2 class here and were beyond disappointed. The whole experience was bad. First…read moreoff the parking situation is a nightmare. Once we got inside it was so crowded with parents and kids bunched in together, you couldn't even get through without bumping into 5 other people. Got to where we needed to be and imagine my surprise that there is no viewing window! I specifically asked about this before signing up and was told we could see the kiddos- well yeah you can see them if you stand up, go to the class door, and look through like a small window on the door (picture a very small rectangle). So you'd have to walk in front of other parents and block this little window in order to see your kid. 100% was misled and I wasn't ok with it- who doesn't want to actually watch their 4 year old take their first dance lesson?! Not to mention the vibe of the whole place was off IMO. Decided we wouldn't be going back, so we called today to cancel and let them know why- was told they'd need a 30 day notice and I'd be charged for an additional week. So I was misled by your staff, wasn't satisfied with the experience, paid for a month (attended 1 class) and the deposit, and that's your response. Get out of here! I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

The staff is incredibly kind and patient with me, yet by gently encouraging me to step back and trust them with my daughter's growth I have watched my daughter blossom into a strong spirit, whereas she would barely let me leave her alone in the classroom two years ago. Not only has she developed technique and skill, but also friendships, confidence and passion about the art of dance! My daughter also has true connections with her teachers, so even when frustrated by the challenges of something new she wants to go right back to class the following week. The front desk staff always greets us by name which makes us feel like family; even the fellow parents are friendly and welcoming. Two things I like about NorthPointe: 1)that they can meet your child where he or she is, and take them as far as he or she would like to go, from just-for-fun-and-exercise all the way to Juilliard (a recent past student is now studying there under scholarship!). And 2) it's not just about DANCE-- it's also about building character and confidence, developing the person as a whole. So even if my child doesn't want to go to Juilliard, she is still developing skills that are essential in so many other areas of her life. There was an earlier negative reviewer on here mentioning her daughter having an issue with a class she tried out, and I am so glad she contacted the studio owner about her concerns. The reviewer mentioned that the owner said the instructor was in tears over the parent's complaint, and that is an excellent example of how seriously NorthPointe takes their standards. That the owner herself called the parent speaks volumes alone, that the teacher was so upset about the misunderstanding, and that the studio offered multiple solutions to this parent-- you can see the level of service NorthPointe provides, even when the parent has an alternate viewpoint of an experience. It seems to me that very few businesses operate this way these days, so for me, it's encouraging to hear that these concerns were addressed so appropriately.

I want to start by saying that I am an extremely passive and non-confrontational type of Customer…read more I did not go into the gym with the expectation that there was going to be an argument or especially to be berated. Last Wednesday, my friend and I signed up for the 3 day pass at your 2100 Polaris Parkway location, in Columbus Ohio. We went and were greeted by Tyler who at first introduction seemed very kind. My friend and I worked out and loved the gym. Tyler told us he would be sending up offer emails, and to expect prices to go up by Monday, as "the gym is switching back to LA Fitness." We saw this as a ploy to get us to sign up faster, but it didn't deter us from joining. The plan was to use our 3 day passes and then sign up. Tyler called me on Friday, I explained to him that I haven't had a chance to come in, but we were very interested and I would sign up through the offer email. Later that night, I attempted to sign up with my American Express card. I received an error on the next page. I retried with my routing and account information, signed the documents, and went on with my busy weekend. The following Monday (4/1) I walk in and attempt to give my phone number because I haven't received a badge. To my surprise I'm not found in their system. Tyler takes me and my friend back to his office and says that he told us to sign up within the timeframe, as prices would increase. I explain to him that I had. He then asks to check my browser history, as if I'm lying. I show him, which proves I was in fact on the website and received the error and continued to re-attempt. He continued to question my search history and stated that if my search history had shown thecorrect URL that he would have been able to honor the price. My friend and I both questioned the point of the browser history interrogation, and explained in detail exactly what happened: that I signed up, received the error, and retried, but something must have gone wrong. We asked that he please honor the price as it was a system error and not a human one. He continues to badger us, and tells me I should've come in if I had issues. Again, had I known the system wouldn't process the signup, I would've come in; it was a complete surprise that it did not process. This goes on for about 10 minutes. Where I feel he is completely chastising us, and accusing us of lying, and he offers the jump in price of $29.99. I tell him it's not about the $5 difference. It is about his treatment of us. That I'm extremely uncomfortable by the confrontation, and because of his conduct, that I'm leaving and signing up for another gym. As we are walking out, he proceeds to call us clowns and walks away. My friend and I are in disbelief. I have never in my life been treated so disrespectfully by a staff member, let alone a manager. All for voicing our concerns. I am dumbfounded and chose to walk out. Again, because I don't like confrontation. Because he called us "clowns", my friend asks to speak to the Gym manager who is on a phone call at the main front desk. She waits. All while Tyler is throwing a temper tantrum right there behind the front desk, in front of all the incoming customers, loudly complaining about the altercation and making snide comments about us, all the while my friend is still waiting for the manager and is standing right there, just two feet away, overhearing all of it. That it itself is unbelievably unprofessional. His manager, who is still on the phone with a customer, motioned for him to stop (multiple times), but he continued. This went on for 10 or more minutes. There were two other colleagues who were there and can attest to this behavior. I am appalled that someone like this is in a customer service position. A gym is supposed to feel inviting, and that's not how we felt. Our excitement for the gym quickly dissipated. I will never sign up for a membership here as long as Tyler is working there. As a gym in such a competitive environment like Columbus, there should be more thought into who you hire and who you choose to keep on. Especially with a planet fitness right across the street. My friend and I quickly crossed the street, signed up for planet fitness and had a great workout, contrary to how Tyler treated us.
