I was there for CPR HCP and BLS. The location was a bit further from Toronto. When I booked it, I…read morewas under the impression that it was going to be closer to downtown, but it was in North York. The instructor was very knowledgeable and tried to make the energy lively. They were personable, tried to make sure we all had a great time learning. I appreciated that they were detailed, used accurate (scientific) terms that we used in the field, and did not just try to give us the certification without making sure we understood the material. Because I came during the pandemic, we were not able to eat or drink inside the building, and nothing was open. Considering that it was a full-day class, we were not able to eat or drink anywhere else but the street (the sidewalk), and that was a bit ridiculous. That wasn't anyone's fault but just make sure you don't bring anything to eat or drink that you can't easily put away (Starbucks cups are a no-go, learned it the hard way).

I Give Vital CPR a 5 stars, because it's a good training school for students like me and many…read moreothers. I went there for 2 classes so far, Basic Life Support(BLS) and also Standard First Aid CPR/AED level C. This courses was so fun! I enjoyed and I learned so fast. If you need a friend In a teacher and you learn better visually and by demonstration then this is the right place for you. Especially, if you contact them and you asked them for help they will tell you everything. Also they give great big discounts ! To conclude, I will definitely suggest Vital CPR for you and your fellows and family.

I did 3 months of in-home private lessons with Shai, all I can say is WOW!! Being a busy mom of…read morethree young and picky children I wanted to learn how to cook meals that I could make in advance and that my kids would like. Shai spent our first few lessons covering all the basics, from knife skills to nutritional values of different foods. Over the course of our time together (about 15 lessons) I can honestly say that my confidence level in the kitchen has improve by a 10-fold. Not only are my kids happy about the yummy (and healthy!!) food I'm putting on the table now, but I had the BEST time hanging out with Shai. She is patient, encouraging, extremely skilled, and FUNNY!! I'd recommend her to anyone and I'm definitely going to be sending my kids to her cooking camps this summer. Thanks Shai!!!

We enrolled our two daughters in Rooks to Cooks' Cutting Edge Chefs camp and pulled them out midway…read morethrough the week. Other parents should know why. Our daughters told us they were shouted at repeatedly, that a sunscreen reminder we had asked for was not given even though one of them has a skin condition, and that one of them was burned in an incident they attribute to a lack of supervision. She told us that when she used the phone we had given her to call us about it, she was reprimanded for contacting her own parents. Telling a parent their child has been hurt is what should happen. Punishing a child for it is not. The response troubled us as much as the incident. The one call we had during the week felt short and defensive, more a recitation of policy than any interest in what happened. The owner himself was more courteous: he apologized and said he would "review" the matter. But he also framed our safety complaint as us simply having "different views," and in the end refused any refund for the two days our children did not attend, citing the no-refund clause in the registration terms. Instead he offered to send a chef to our home for a free class. We did not want this company's chef in our home. We wanted them to make right a week we cut short over our children's safety. To be fair, the office staff replied quickly and courteously, and the program is clearly popular. But courtesy and popularity are not accountability. A business that treats a burn and a safety complaint as a matter of opinion, and hides behind a no-refund clause meant for scheduling changes, not a child's safety, rather than making a parent whole, is not one I can recommend.
