I bent some of the axle hangers on my 44' RV 5th wheel triple-axle trailer by hitting a curb, so I…read morewas broke down on the side of the road and couldn't move the trailer anywhere. Out of desperation, I called Midnight Mechanics. Ken came out the next morning to look at it. He identified that I had hit a curb, needed to replace 2 tires. He then worked on it for 4 days with very little progress. All the while we were stuck in the Love's parking lot. I was worried that the work he was doing was wrong. He was going to reconnect the springs to a bent hanger, arguing with me that the hanger was supposed to be bent over into a Z shape. That didn't sound right to me, so I did what he should have done and called Lippert, the trailer manufacturer. They sent me a parts diagram showing the straight hangers (definitely not Z shaped). So I fired Ken. Had I driven it with bent hangers it would have caused more problems down the road, and could have even caused an accident! I then called Nelson's Truck and Trailer Roadside Repair. They came out right away and knew what they were doing. They identified what parts would be needed from Lippert, which I ordered with overnight delivery. They had it fixed correctly within hours of receiving the parts a couple days later. I don't like writing negative reviews like this, but the work he was doing could have caused somebody to get hurt. Save yourself time and trouble and just call Nelson's instead.

They scammed me 560 for a simple tire change but gave me a bald tire and forced a small rim on it which ruined my brake pads and disk. To add insult to injury, the tire they replaced was flat and they didn't even bother to tighten the lugnuts. Ill post the vids and pics so you can see that this place is a scam. When confronted, sent me an OBVIOUS photo of him with a random bandange and said he was at the hospital, when you can see it was at his apartment! My friend and I were driving alongside the highway when our tire blew. There really aren't a lot of…read moreoptions in the Waco area, so I used Yelp to find the closest option. Regardless of how fast these people can change a tire, it'll may still take a bit for them to drive out to you. We were 20 minutes out of Waco and it took about 35-40 minutes for our person to show up. I'm not sure how many people actually work here since the person who took my call was also the person to come change our tire. I ended up having to ping him my location since I was having difficulty figuring out where exactly on the highway we were. He worked quickly, was knowledgeable about the situation, and was very friendly the entire time. When we were billed, he said he was an independent contractor so he negotiated the price with us. The total ended up being $75, which I think is pretty reasonable considering how quickly he worked and how much less expensive this was than calling a tow truck.

I respect the job they have done, but I don't think they are very professional. they forgot to screw the spark plug bolt back, didn't even screw back the engine air pipes after no more than 30 min diagnosis, and I said that I tried to replace the spark plugs before, then they only tested the spark plugs and did a compression pressure testing, other than that no more testing, then they charge me $200, and told me that I need to replace the whole engine. This makes me not feel good. car is not fixed, the root reason is not sure, and need to spend more money and time on it to find out the root causes of why it can't start up.
