The doctors are good however they're also good at the other clinics that I have visited, and unfortunately at Fountain Corner you are required to pay a larger fee when in comparison. Having said this, the doctors here are probably above average and I do think when it comes to health Fountain Corner is an appropriate and efficient clinic. Overall Fountain Corner is a nice and friendly practice, which can be found on Unley Road. With a fairly nice vibe attached to the environment here it's a pleasant experience, however just a little pricier than your standard fully bulk billed doc.

The counter staff are not friendly, they are more like functional robots who hate their job. I have been quite a few times and I am shocked at the lack of competency some of the doctors have. This is a tough review without going into the detail of my medical history (I am not about to be that old person on the bus telling you about every procedure and ailment they have had in the last six months). However, here are a few examples that encompass my experience at Hindmarsh Medical Clinic. After a serious soup burn I was told "it is not that bad, you don't need to do anything". Well the searing pain and my gut instinct told me to get a second opinion. A lovely doctor from another surgery dressed my burn every day for five days. I was going overseas and needed vaccines. The doctor GOOGLED the country in front of me, spent ages looking at the screen and charged me for a double visit. Another ailment was misdiagnosed three times. As I write this review I am shocked how long I put up with this place. The only positive is that it is easy to get into (maybe because it is so rubbish). I would only recommend this place if you need a quick sick certificate for work. I would like to point out that this doctors surgery is connected to a physio and a dentist. I have been to both and they are amazing. This review is about the doctors surgery and NOT the physio and dentist.

My practitioner was Dr. Emilie Staehr who was nice initially but comes across as a very transactional doctor. Don't go in to an appointment expecting more than a 10 minute discussion. As a last resort, I'm sure there are worse clinics out there- but I would recommend seeking treatment elsewhere for anything ongoing and if you have the time there are plenty of clinics in the area which offer bulk billing. -Michael

It's thoughtfully laid out, the five consultant rooms join directly to the waiting room; when your name's called, you enter a room that already has a doctor in it. It's easy to get the impression that Globe Medical is only for students and/or travelers. Wrong! Their GP services include: women's and corporate health, vaccinations, skin care services and general appointments. I've seen Dr Chris Rook and Dr. Maggie Phillip. Both were fantastic. Dr. Rook is a legend, he phoned me from home later the night of my appointment to let me know some test results. If they need to drain your b-l-o-o-d... there's a pathology collection centre downstairs. International students: OSHC Worldcare is billed directly (you'll still need to pay the gap). Located less than 200m from Rundle Mall, on Hindmarsh square. Phone ahead to make an appointment, they try their best to see you same day.
