I…read morewas left waiting for 40 minutes while some poor overworked staff member (who was very nice and apologetic) hunted desperately for the kit between seeing other patients. In addition she told me I was supposed to have fasted before this particular test, which had not been mentioned when I booked the test. I was told to call first thing Monday to re-book and that with 24 hours notice they could have a kit in by Tuesday. Called back on Monday to find no-one manning the phones so called the general enquiries line where I was told the staff at the centre should have re-booked me on the spot, and also that there were no bookings available until 11 days later (meanwhile I'm trying to get diagnosed so I can be treated for a condition that's causing significant discomfort). At this point I gave up and tried a different pathology company, who had the test kits onsite, immediately booked me for the following morning, and gave me full instructions on fasting and preparation.

All of the stars! This has got to be the best doctor's clinic I've ever been to. Not the sort of…read moresentence that gets used often, but darn it - it's true! I'm willing to come down here from the Northern suburbs because I know I will get well looked after. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and all the doctors I've seen (which is most of them since I just take available appointment times rather than see one doctor regularly) have been excellent. They are really attentive, take the time to listen to you and make sure they get the full story. No hasty prescription writing to bustle you out of the door or ordering of unnecessary tests. Appointments do tend to run overtime - pretty standard for any GP though - and I would put it down to the doctors being thorough. The waiting room is worth a mention too; plenty of chairs and couches and a big area for kids with plenty toys appropriate for different ages.
