I've been bringing my kids here since their first dental appointment and had a good experience each time. It's not usually a long wait in the waiting room, but if you do encounter a little bit of a wait, they have a movie going in the lobby and arcade games. I appreciate how patient they are with my kids and make them feel comfortable. My kids honestly dont get scared to go to the dentist, they look forward to it. I have found that the exams are thorough and I love that my kids can be treated at the same time to save time. I I've taken my kids here for the past couple years and I'm just not sure I made the right decision. My daughters teeth I notice looked like they were starting to show signs of decay when I started going there but as soon as she even looks nervous and makes a peep or even just looks uncomfortable they say " that's ok she doesn't have any cavities" and that's it. Without even really looking in her mouth. Paint her teeth with fluoride and leave. AND I felt like there are noticeable cavities starting. So.... They're just gonna let her teeth go until she needs real work done and then refuse to treat her cavities after fasting and all that mess like the other review was complaining about? What's the goal here? Anyways we have another appointment coming up. looking into other dentist. I wanted to ad that my 15 year old also goes here and they clean her teeth and everything goes really well for her. If I didn't have a toddler who I was concerned about I'd probably definately not have a second thought. read more

I've been taking my son here for a couple years and other than always having to wait at least 30 minutes to be seen I liked this dentist office. They installed arcade games since the last time I was there. They are older games like the 90's and they are hard to use. And they just make every kid anxious and irritated. My son was so mad over the games I had to leave. I doubt I will ever come back. read more

Unfortunately the office staff is not as polite, kind of feels like two different worlds when getting service here, and for some reason it never gets better with office staff. Got a new insurance provider and this place is close to the house so thought we'd give it a shot. Took my 15-year old daughter for her annual cleaning. The waiting room is A LOT of fun! Lots of televisions, video games and even a little jungle gym thing tucked back in the corner of the second waiting area. My daughter was super excited that "Flushed Away" was playing. (She's 15 but apparently it's one of her favorites.) This is the kind of waiting room where kids and parents don't mind waiting. They were super fast and friendly getting her teeth x-rayed. Facilities are really clean and have all the trappings of a modern children's dental practice - tvs above the chairs, cartoons, bright colors and characters holding toothbrushes everywhere. My only negative about the space is that it was cold - but maybe it's just me (it was an earlier morning appointment). The staff and dentist were very nice. Check out was fast. We'll be back in two months to take care of some cavities (sadness) but we'll be happy to return. read more

I'm not sure what the dr name is but the woman with short blond hair was touching my daughter so inappropriately on her inner thigh yesterday as she would lean in to look in her mouth. I couldn't even believe it. Once I notice her sexualizing her mouth with her fingers that's when I asked the dr to stop and get someone else and that's when she told me I was making a scene and that I should step out to the waiting room. My daughter and I left and I hope nobody goes back here ever... terrible experience and so traumatizing for me because now I feel like I can't trust anyone read more

I have a 4 year old!! Okay let's settle first that he is only 4 years old. If most adults I know don't like to have visits or cleanings at the doctor. Why would a 4 year old be happy, excited and ready to come to the dentist. Now this appointment is not at all like a normal appointment. He is needing to have a procedure done to get cavities taken care of. He's appointment was scheduled for 7 this morning. I went out of my way to have this appointment happen after months and months of it being rescheduled. Now he's teeth have gotten way way worse. We got here did all the vitals and he's been fasting since last night and took the liquid medicine that's required. They have us wait an hour to have it kick in. Reminders he's 4 and not a fan of doctors. So they go to do the gas mask on him and he starts to get upset and cry. So the male doctors at this location refuses to work in him because he's upset. This is ridiculous you are a kids doctor and should definitely know how to work with kids. Even when they upset. They try to cancel it again and turned us away!! I have always heard bad things about this place but I wanted to give them the chance and now I'm hating this place too! I took time from work, had to get sister taken to another place and prep my son all week for them to be so unprofessional and uncaring!!! Needed a new kids dentist for a 3 year old. We did wait a loong time to be seen (30minutes +); but they have a cafe cart outside (the name was Gypsy something) excellent coffee, pastries, smoothies. The tech London was really good and my child did awesome! The dentist was nice. They gave my kid a ballon and a baggie with products. Made us very happy. I feel relieved to have found a good children's dentist (our other dentist moved to Phoenix :( ). read more

I felt the dentist was condescending and not very warm. She said she was hoping for the best with my sons teeth but came back with over 6 cavities needing six crowns and nerve repair after being able to take xrays with him being gently sedated. She said she was hoping for the best from the initial exam but after the xrays he needs all this work. I appreciate realism rather than going off of faith since you look in his mouth and see a black dot. I'm just not happy with my experience with the dr. My daughter went in today and got 7 filling done a total of 1hr and 45mins work done. I must say I am so happy and impressed that Dr. Vyas and her dental assistant Sunny we're doing my daughters fillings. Dr. Vyas was very knowledgeable, and was very helpful with answering all my questions, she was so kind and caring towards my daughter. Asking her if she was doing ok, every step of the way, She wanted to make sure she was comfortable and Sunny was so kind and so caring she held onto my daughters hand to comfort her. These women are amazing! Thank you Dr. Vyas and Sunny for making my daughter's experience so positive. She doesn't like going to the dentist at all but after this experience she actually feels a different way and is happy and willing to go back. I couldn't be more happy with this. They once were good, been taking my kids here to this particular location for the past 16 years! They were amazing; everybody was professional and so kind, but then about 3 years ago it started to go downhill and it hasn't gone back up either. 1 technician who administered my son laughing gas looked and behaved like she was high on illegal type marijuana and I I know how folks are like when they're high. Her eyes were bloodshot red and she had that uncontrollable, constant, unnecessary smile, looking and behaving like she just wanted to bust out laughing at every single thing I said. I didn't feel comfortable with my son being there and nitrous oxide being given to him. I did not know until they brought us back to the room and already had him prepped to recieve it, that this gal on drugs was going to be our tech. The dentist came in and the dentist himself was just doing his job, he was professional but nothing over-the-top to say he was really good. He did inform me, the parent, as to what things were going on and why, so that is good. The previous dentist at this office, refuse to treat my son because when they checked his blood pressure it was out of range. She even referred us to the ER because of his blood pressure well when we went to the ER they said it was completely normal and that dentist are just afraid to treat anybody and anything is even a wee bit off. As if these medical professionals don't know that if you call patient from the waiting room into the space where you're going to check their vitals and you don't have them relax and sit first for a few minutes, then obviously the blood pressure is going to be high, especially if the kid just got done walking fast because we were being rushed. Knowing that these people don't associate oral care with regular health care, they seem to think it's different and that nothing relates to anything, it is surprising that these people are still in business. The office itself is nice as it had had some upgrades in the previous years. It's an o.k. size lobby area. They arw video games set up so children can play but most of the time, the game or the controllers don't work and the staff doesn't care. They seem to jave the "oh, well," attitude about it, so the whole wall where there are multiple video game systems and monitors, and controllers just seem to sit there for aesthetic pleasure since they are not and have not been functional. Not very appeasing since it is an actual *children's* dentist and they should be catering to the children. Like I said, we been going here for the past 16 years and this is not just a one-time problem. This has been the same ONGOING problem, all of them, from the dentist refusing to treat my son, me being belittled because of it, my son getting scrutinized for existing with certain medical conditions beyond his control, the video game issue, and this has been on multiple visits even spaced one to two months apart, and then even coming back every 3-4 weeks!! I'm going to take our business elsewhere!!! read more

I'm alittle puzzled by my recent experience here. We've been coming here about 4 years and noticed a huge increase in staff and understood that to be from the Kolb Road location closing. Never had any issues, appointments are basically on time, ect. We went in this week and I was told my child needed to be referred to an orthodontist. I thought this referral would be coming so about six months ago I called our dental insurance provider and spoke to them about what is and is not covered, orthodontic wise. I'm told that Vicky will help me and seated in front of what appears to be an employee of the dentist office. She inquires if I have alternative insurance. I tell her no. She clearly states that my insurance does not cover any orthodontist or braces. I think to myself, "how does she know that?" I ask her to clarify and she repeats the same thing... that with my insurance provider there is no orthodontist or braces coverage and that service must be paid for out of pocket. I explain this must be a huge mistake as I spoke to the insurance company less than six months ago. She shrugs and says that the 1ST visit to the orthodontist is complimentary and she will schedule an appointment for me wherein I'll be given an estimate of costs. I am confused and state I don't want to do that, I want to clarify with the insurance company. I then tell her I've been coming here 4 years and never had an issue with my insurance not paying. She then tells me that the company SHE WORKS FOR will not accept my insurance. While she is sitting right next to the receptionist at my dentist office, this lady actually works for the orthodontist office and it's their policy not to do business with my insurance company - it's NOT that my insurance won't pay for orthodontic care or braces!!! It appears they "rent" space in the dentist office also!!! In addition, the dentist office did not give me another referral to someone else. What's type of farce is that??? read more

Literally the worst experience of my life. This place is a joke. They rush through routine cleanings they over schedule everyone and then I bring my kid in today for a procedure to have his tooth removed after a bad fall. They originally scheduled me 14 days out which was literally outrageous. I cried and then they miraculously found an appt on may 3. In 4 days. I went in and they gave sedation via medication which I had to administer. My son spilled half of it so I'm like should we get more, to which the "assistant" said no it'll be fine. My son was not sedated or calm in the slightest. He's non verbal but clearly was nervous which I could tell cause he was super hyper. They bring him in try to do gas which scares him then they're like well can't do it sorry mom. I took off work and everything and they literally were just like too bad. I'll never go back. Davis pediatric dentistry is the best dentist in tucson they are getting me in same day for an eval and procedure will be tomorrow. Thank god for them. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this hot mess of a place. Literally a dentist office for kids that can't handle kids. What a prize. read more

Love bringing my son to this office. Staff is very attentive. Enjoy how Brenda keeps him entertained as he is getting his teeth cleaned. Started bringing him since he was a 1 year old, he's 2 now. Have had a few visits and Scarlet always makes sure it's a pleasurable experience. They even have a play area in the waiting room. It makes it a nice experience for him too. Absolutely love this dentist office. it is certainly not the most convenient dentist office for us to travel too, but I won't go to any other office. The office staff are always friendly and very helpful. The medical assistants and hygienists are very efficient and nice. The dentists are always willing to answer questions and explain any issues. Have taken my granddaughter here for all her dentist appointments and she loves it here. What great service I had last week. Dr. Coston was amazing, efficient and friendly. I didn't even feel the work done on my molar. Her assistant Scarlett made me feel so comfortable, usually I am very nervous but not today. I would recommend this place to anyone who is hesitatant to go to the dentist or has had bad experiences in other facilities. Very dissatisfied how they treated my daughter . The lady was so rude about everything and doesn't even deserve a star my daughter comes to me complaining how she felt very upset because of how a lady tells her how to put her tongue a certain way which is very difficult for someone who's basically getting her teeth scrapped because of how their "dissatisfied " on how her feet look.
