I really appreciated how they personally visited every table to make sure everything was perfect - and it absolutely was. My husband had the buffet and said everything was delicious, while I opted for the red cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. OMG, the flavor was out of this world! For dessert, I had a strawberry-stuffed churro, and my husband had a cream-stuffed one. You have to try those churros - trust me, you won't regret it! Thank you for an incredible, authentic meal. It is kind of a shoe string operation, almost a food truck type environment, only with full table service. The restaurant is a combination of what looks to be an old industrial building with an uninsulated shed structure attached. The shed, the lower and larger dining area where you enter, is heated and air conditioned. Grab a table there. Today the AC was working hard. It was comfortable even on this hot muggy day. Nothing fancy here. A functional back street BBQ joint. Very nice and obviously patriotic folks run this restaurant. The lady that served us was pleasant and friendly. The restaurant offers the basics with a little of their own spin on the menu. For me, I tried something different, the Diablo Sandwich. Referred to on the menu as spicey. The lady serving us described it as a version of a Sloppy Joe (chopped brisket, BBQ sauce, peppers and onions). For the sides, I picked Cowboy Beans and Confetti Cole Slaw. The sandwich was very tasty. With several generous applications of the house made Hot BBQ sauce I was able to bring the heat level to what I consider spicey. Same with the beans. The slaw, average. My wife had the sliced brisket with the Rustic Potato salad. A fair serving of tender lean brisket. It had a smokey bark, not covered with an overpowering rub. Good, but she commented that it was a little dry. Sauce was needed. A big dallop of delicious fresh potato salad was her side dish. The restaurant is easy to find. It is a couple of blocks east of Patterson Blvd (HWY 69) on 8th street. Give it a try. Support veteran owned businesses.

The lady who ran the place, Randi, said sit where you like and brought menus and sweet tea. I'm not a fan of smoked meats but did try the ribs with a side of some heavenly coleslaw slaw. The bone separated from the meat and it was tender. Michelle told me to taste her smoked sausage ‍. She enjoyed the Keiki which was a shredded potato smothered with Cowboy beans, smoked sausage and pulled pork. Randi was great! We placed the order and just barely got a napkin and my sweet tea started when she came with our orders. Michelle had been here before and I'm sure we'll go again!

I didn't wanna get my hopes up too high, as we LOVE pho, sushi, curry, ramen, etc., and have had a lot of different restaurants versions through the years. But I'm so glad we decided to give it a try. We got a Black Dragon Roll, Beef Pho, and Beef Larb (wasn't sure what it was, but it was more like a very fresh salad in a dressing with rice and cilantro and lettuce. VERY good). It was all SO good and fresh-- pho rice noodles, a plate with lime, fresh basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños to add at will. Very flavorful, savory beef broth. I'm so happy this exists here. I've been hoping someone would start a restaurant with pho/sushi/curry, and they did all three. And it was all SOO good. I could probably eat here every day. I'm excited to try everything on their menu.

Mayra brought all of her stuff from the other side of Bartlesville, gave the old building a fresh coat of paint inside and out, and moved in. Enormous menu for such a small restaurant. Excellent shredded chicken with a little green sauce, rolled in a flour tortilla covered with queso and then a little salsa picante. I had the Poblanos Grill. Two large poblano peppers breaded, fried with a little melted cheese on top, one finished on top with chopped steak and green sauce, the other chicken and red sauce. Check the pictures. Both meals served on hot plates were flavorful and filling. Nothing bland here. Very good rice and beans. Good salsas both mild and picante. The chips are fried in the restaurant.
