Otherwise, I have a hard time finding anything. They are either out of what I need or don't carry it. It's frustrating so if I need something specific, I go to Ace in McFarland or Menards. Stoughton won't have it. We had Aaron come in and quote new windows and doors. After two weeks, we had to call him and ask for the quote. We got the window quote, but not the new front double door. So we got quotes from other companies. We were shocked at new door prices so we went back to Stoughton. We looked at double doors, talked to someone who said he would talk to Aaron. That never happened so we went with a responsive company. I guess they don't need business that bad. I only go there for simple things. Sometimes they don't even have that. Aaron, you suck.

I had a horrendous experience with this shop. Took a watch in for a battery change. The young woman…read moreworking said she did not know how to do it but would have "the repair person" do it. A couple of weeks later, a young woman called and said the battery was replaced but there was a broken part that needed replacing for it to run. They gave me an estimate and I agreed to have them proceed. A month later, still no watch,I called them and the older guy who sad he does repairs said I had never authorized the repair. I recounted the whole story and the guy insisted he was never told. I asked how long it would take now and he said he didn't know, because he might have to get the glass from from Bulova. I expressed my displeasure at the poor customer service and lack of being able to give an answer. He lost his temper and told me to come get it, that he did not want to work on it. At this point, I believe Bergey's broke the watch, doesn't know how to repair it, and that is why it has not been repaired. I shop locally but I will never shop here again and will be sure all my friends and family know about this. The fellow on the phone was thoroughly unprofessional.

I spent like 20 minutes looking for support pegs for bookshelves at Walmart, with no luck. And I…read morenever saw a person who could help me. So when I was done, I called Aselson's Hardware in town. Which is a big thing, I usually never call places, I like to browse(usually I'm not in a hurray). But I had a migraine and didn't want to walk around looking for an item again. A young man answered the phone, super nice, I didn't know how to properly word my item, as I didn't have the name "support peg" yet. But the guy said "we have a wide array of pegs and shelving support, stop in and will help." Which is exactly what happened! Wish I had gotten the kids name. A young man with glasses helped me find the items, helped me narrow down what I needed/size/amount and other things I didn't think of. I'm super glad I didn't have to wait for an online order. I did have to pay a bit more than online/Amazon/Walmart. But I got better service, no doubt I'd have bout the same thing three times at Walmart because it was the wrong size if not for the great guy helping me! I've also had the best service at the paint bar, be it the conversation while they mix and help choosing. And they helped me make a decision on what kind I needed, since I didn't realize there's a difference between the paints. I just grabbed. Shop small Stoughton!
