We went on the snorkeling adventure yesterday, and one of crew members was extremely rude and short with guests. Russel was very degrading and disrespectful when he spoke to me and my husband. I feel like it ruined the trip a bit for us and even though the boat was nice, and the food was good the customer service was really bad. I don't think I would recommend it to others especially when there are SO many other options. read more

Great snorkeling tour to Honolua Bay. Great reef with lots of fish, sea turtles all in a calm bay which is very easy for beginners. Lunch was good, cocktails included and a very capable and personable crew. This was a highlight of our Maui vacation. read more

We took a half day cruise while in Maui. The staff were accommodating and supportive of family needs. The rules are simple and logical. They had ample seating, comfortable seating & allowed people a lot of freedom on the boat. Couple days later we went on another catamaran trip with a different company. This really validated our appreciation for the Gemini catamaran and crew. Much more conducive to families and overall comfort is top notch. I wish I had read the other yelps before spending $600 on the neighboring trip. read more

Absolutely amazing experience ! We toured with captain Linda and her crew Russel, Sierra to name a few. We felt very safeZ we saw dolphins and captain Linda was so amazing she slowed down for us to see them up close and personal. They had breakfast for us and booze on our way back. Their experience and skill allowed us to see a wonderful show of such beautiful creatures. Took 2 separate sails with Gemini on our trip in February 2021. Both snorkel trips were phenomenal. The ocean was a bit choppy from the wind on both trips, however the captain found us a protected bay each time and the snorkeling was great! The meals after were good as well (barbecue chicken, pork, rice, vegetables/ranch, chips/salsa, and rolls. After the snorkeling and lunch, we whale watched and both captains were able to find whales that were showing off. There are a lot of whales off Maui right now, but not all of them are active. I was very pleased with the respect the Captain's showed to these magnificent creatures. Just great trips and great crew! read more

We had so much fun on their sunset cruise. We went on this same boar last time we came about 5 years ago. Such a great crew too. Easy to get there, just walk right off the beach in front of the Westin Resort and Spa. Food and drinks were tasty. They added some upgrades to the boat with more seating upstairs and extra handles. Just went on a premier snorkel sale yesterday. I've been on Terrel Ani and on others but this was the best. They actually put their sales up and we sailed! Every time I've been on other boats which has been many they just take you out and have an excuse of why they didn't put their sales up so I was really happy that Jim and I did. Also the food was pretty darn terrific and the cruise super nice one of the best things is the music they played! They took us to a snorkel spot I had never been to turtles fish everywhere next Time I'm in Maui I will definitely go with them maybe twice! I just want to say thanks it was super fun read more

Yay for snorkeling! Even more yay for this service. My first time snorkeling was brilliant! Dave was a great guide, providing serious direction and instructions yet in a friendly and fun manner. They took us to Honolua Bay, north of Lahaina, and it was fierce! A green sea turtle was 6 feet away from us and we watched it take air and then swim down to hide under coral. That was SO COOL! I couldn't believe it. Unfortunately, I went below after eating and got nauseous, I couldn't shake it and I eventually puked overboard, but no one gave me shit for it! No one made fun of me (well to my face or in my presence at least), in fact the ship's owner helped me relax and ride out the wooziness. I'll be better prepared next time (I'm talkin' to you Dramamine!). Hopefully the crew will believe me and let me back on. :o) read more

I had a wonderful time on a 4 hour snorkeling excursion with Gemini. The meeting spot was in front of the Westin where we were greeted, checked-in, and given a quick overview of the day. **The catamaran pulls right up on the beach for you to board, so be prepared to get wet up to about waste high! There was plenty of room to sit below deck or upstairs. It was a beautiful ride north to the reef that gave us a chance to see some more of the island (and even dolphins and turtles swimming near by!) The staff went around and made sure that everyone had properly fitting swim fins and snorkels on the way. Once we arrived, they gave us a quick snorkel lesson and even had float belts and boards for the less experienced swimmers/people who wanted a "lazy" snorkeling experience. We had about an hour and change to explore the reef. When we got back on the boat, they had lunch prepared and the bar was open. All of the staff on board was extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this and would go back! read more

Had the most unforgettable experience on Gemini! We went to Lanai to snorkel and the water was so beautiful, it was like a lake. It was a spur of the moment decision from the captain, and it couldn't have been a more epic experience. On the way over, there were whales swimming right next to the boat! On the way back, we saw so many whale breaches it was incredible. And to think we only booked a snorkel tour. It was absolutely amazing and can't wait to go again. read more

This Cat is the most fun you can have on water. Snorkeling, Sunset cruise, Seasonal hale watching, or even private charters. This crew is nothing but top shelf! as well as Trey and Sands. Captain Andrew knows the seas and your ride will be enjoyable. Never rushed, and everyone was helpful and fun. And the food is excellent. We did the snorkeling sail adventure. On the way to the snorkeling site we had an encounter with a humpback they said was called a mugging. They turned off the boat and we spent probably 20 minutes with this amazing animal. He was totally showing off. He had to of been within 15 feet of the boat, they said this is very rare that they come this close. He was just gently swimming, showing us his massive body. Excuse my ignorance of what the maneuvers he was making is called but he was blowing water out of his blow hole, flipping up his tail, completely rolling over and swimming on his back showing us his white underbelly. And just before we left he swam a few more feet out and came up out of the water and gave us a good splash back into the water. I still can't believe that happened. Then at the snorkeling site everyone was so kind and helpful with us who have never snorkeled before. I ended up absolutely loving it. We saw many sea turtles within feet of us. We even had a reef shark swim by just minding his own business cruising by. The site was so beautiful and the water is so calm and blue. The food and drinks after snorkeling were delicious. Then when we headed back they put up the sails and we had the most beautiful sunny sailing back to the hotel. Also, There is someone that swims around the area taking photos of you and the fish etc that you can purchase later. I would definitely stick with Gemini for any future sailing tours. read more

Our day on the Gemini was wonderful! The crew was so nice and took the time to talk to all of us on the boat. The Marine Preserve is gorgeous and is a must-see for snorkelers.
