As a professional photographer, I often rent camera lenses and camera bodies. It's the best and…read moreleast expensive way to try out new equipment before purchasing it. I'm really glad to have this place so close to home. They also ship equipment for those who are out of town, but I love the convenience of being able to pick up and drop off locally. The staff is friendly, and you can reserve your equipment online or over the phone. You can pick your equipment up after 3 PM the day before and it's due before noon the day after. My only complaints are the parking and no straps for the camera bodies. The parking situation is a bummer, but you can usually find somewhere to park in the street while you run in and grab your equipment as long as you don't stay there long. When I rented a camera body a couple weeks ago, they didn't include a camera strap which is just asking me to drop it. I primarily shoot with my 70-200mm, and that thing is just too heavy to constantly carry in my hand and worry about dropping. They need to include neck straps with the body rentals.

My only disappointment was that I did not book them for my engagements. I got my photos back in a timely manner (six weeks) and was able to get them printed for Christmas gifts! Aaron, Austin, and their third shooter did such a great job of capturing the day (in late October) and the venue's theme that we were going for (country chic). Our wedding was at Green Door Gourmet and the way they captured the barn, the arbor, and the changing leaves was just so artistic and beautiful.
