The joy Kristin has for capturing life's milestones was evident from the moment my husband and I met with her to discuss our options. She couldn't stop beaming - it was almost like this wedding was as significant to her as it was to us! She led us step-by-step through showing us her portfolio, describing the materials she uses, and even provided us with some sample wedding day timelines to consider. Kristin took note of every request, concern, and idea, and she committed to delivering with excellence and precision. She had an assistant accompany her on our wedding day to add to what she was already shooting for us (totally free of charge!), and the assistant shot black and white film while Kristin captured the full-color shots. What a special bonus those photos were! Kristin and her assistant knew that the wedding day was not about her, but about capturing our day in its entirety. She wasn't in the way as many photographers are, and I barely noticed her as we were going through the motions of preparation and the wedding itself. With everything I had to worry about that day, her services were not one of them! I didn't bother to tell her what shots to take, because she already knew! At the last moment. Perfect....what do we need....minister....check.....car and driver....check....photographer....let me defer to the soon to be wife on that one! So, wife to be does her research and gets good ground level intel and gives Amy at And How! a call. She saw her work and heard great things about her. Wednesday is the wedding day...and she was calling on MONDAY. (I wasn't lying when I said it was at the last moment). Even though Amy had a shoot booked for that day, she so kindly rearranged things a little and, BAM, we got ourselves a photographer. Amy loved all of that and there was a lot of back and forth between the two to come up with some great locations. On the big day, Amy was right on time and ready to go.
