They found a salvaged engine and had the work done at their shop of choice. There was not negotiated with them. I get my truck back 27 days later... and there has been nothing but problems. After talking to the VP Javid Hashimi, the refused to take accountability of the situation. They wont cover any of the cost to repair my truck that is now undrivable. Every time I have a flat and need a tire repair, they've always gotten me in right away and gotten it fixed immediately. Sometimes at no-charge even! My most recent experience was today. On Saturday I got a flat tire in Madden, AB and had to get AMA to come change my tire. I tried to get into Canadian Tire to have them fix it, and they told me the hole was "Too big for the plug" and that I needed to buy a new tire. And they were going to charge me a fortune for it because I have 17" low-profile tires. I took it in to Don this morning and he had a look at it and was able to fix it. I ALWAYS recommend OK tire to my friends and colleagues when they ask me where a good place to buy tires is. Even if they live in Calgary, the quality of service is well worth it.

I waited less than 2 minutes and my car and i were guided into the bay to be seen. I was shown everything from the colour, and levels, of the new and old oil to my filters. I knew enough I could make an informed decision and didn't feel as though I was being pressures into buying anything I didn't need. It was no costly than the other stores ive been dealing with. I liked the convenience of not having to book an appointment or waiting for it to b done. I also liked being there to ask questions regarding my cars health and suggestions he had going forward. Cons - Couldn't fix misfire problem with 2000 Civic. - Shop and office could be cleaner, but maybe that is a pro and part of the charm. Background on the Civic: I was having it serviced exclusively at W & B along with changing the oil myself. I started getting an occasional odd misfire when accelerating at low RPM. They changed some electrical components and it seemed fixed (or at least greatly improved) for a couple months, but then returned badly. After that they couldn't fix it. I went to another shop in frustration and they couldn't fix it either. I ended up trading in for a new car, even though the Civic had another 5-10 years left in it if that issue was fixed.

Showed up at 10:00, was told it could be done at 11:30. Dropped it off at 11:00. We returned at 12:40, and they had not even started. So I waited in the front area.
