Great pork, we buy a whole pig every year. Humanely raised. They sell excellent blueberries as well. Sausage always delicious.

I have been there twice for sandwich meat and discovered that when the girl sliced the meat she…read moredoesn't wear any gloves and touches every meat slice with her hands. After wrapping the meat she goes and using the cash register touching filthy money and doesn't even wash her hands. After serving me she goes on to the next customer without even thinking of hygiene. I tried the place again, thinking it was just her, but no same thing the next time. I will not be shopping there anymore and have told many people about this practice who will not either. Shame on you Karl's meats for not training your staff properly. Have we not learned anything from covid?

Finally, a store that sells everything that I need for my cultural background needs. As a kid I…read moreremember going to the old Dutch stores and getting things like terrible salted licorice, chocolate sprinkles, Nutella with white chocolate, and Mentos. Karl's Meat has all of that and a bit more. Great selection of deli meat, poultry, beef, and pork with usual daily specials. They shine in the Dutch department which blew me away and they have a lot of great Dutch products all from Holland such as cleaning aids, wooden shoes, flags, shirts, and of course food. For those who collect those blue and white plates and cups there are plenty about. I love the selection of chocolates, candies, croquettes, olyballen, and stropies. I always get a kick shopping here because most of the people who shop there are Dutch and of course they speak it in the store so it's fun listening to their conversations about the other shoppers and even about me when I'm in line (terrible) The kicker is that I understand 100% of what they are saying, so there's no fooling me ha ha

I visited Lepp Farmer's Market to get local products such as vegetables, fruits, cured meats,…read morecondiments, ready-to-serve items, and fresh meats. I also visit this place for food events. The "Taste of the Market" event is always organized before the Christmas season each year. I always enjoy the vendors' products, such as cheese, cooked foods, chocolate, olive oil, cured meats, desserts, and more. This event is really fun! Each product is unique and delicious, and we get to try small bites from every vendor. This year, all the vendors' foods were excellent. I especially enjoyed Mt. Lehman Cheese's aged cheddar, Those Pretzels, Lepp Market's turkey cranberry sausage, Grass Roots' smoked cheese, Madame Loïk's whipped cheese, Callister Craft Soda, Centennial's cookie dough spread, Fraser Valley hazelnuts, Charlie Ivy's olive oil, and a cranberry spread served on top of nachos (unfortunately, I forgot the vendor's name). It was a fantastic event that I attend every year. If you missed it, I highly recommend checking it out next year!

Beautiful farm market with extremely fresh produce. They have their own Lepp branded bread, juice,…read moreice cream, coffee beans, meats, etc. Many cuts of meat that look top quality. Of course everything was quite pricey because you pay for the quality. The day I went, they featured fresh raw (not fermented or heated) hot sauce by local BC brand Caliente. The owner of the business was there giving samples on homemade chips! It was delicious and felt good to support local. They have their Lepp ice cream stand outside, $5.95 for a scoop. There are picnic tables outside with umbrellas to have your ice cream. We took home half pints for $6.95. It is some of my favourite ice cream because they use full fruits (strawberry, blueberry, raspberry flavours) and it has a velvety texture. Their cafe inside has great classic bakery items like red velvet cake, cinnamon buns, scones. They have coffee, sandwiches, soup which makes the market a great stop when travelling through the lower mainland and wanting a quick bite. The beef goulash was amazing! So hearty almost like a chili, bits of beef throughout. Lemon square could've been more sour. It was quite sweet and the frosting was additional sweetness. Coffee was standard. They said they use Ricardo coffee beans. There is bar style seating inside. You can also buy their food items frozen to take home!
