A nice finish in Siesta Village…read more After enjoying dinner in Siesta Village, we headed out for some dessert. Both at St Armands and Siesta Village, there is no shortage of ice cream and gelato places. Each has their very popular spot, at St Armands it is Kilwin's, in the village it is Big Olaf. Yet, there are other choices, and we headed to one. We discovered Stefano Versace Gelato is now in the spot previously occupied by Ciao Gelato. They have been open for about 3 months, offering not only gelato, but also coffee, smoothies, and more. We were there for the gelato. While Big Olaf looked busy, there was no line at SVG. I liked the colorful display of various gelatos. Some of the names were in Italian, the helpful counter person interpreting a few for us. Both the brownish gelatos looked like coffee flavor, but neither was. That's ok, I pivoted to bright white and got their coconut gelato. The coconut was definitely coconut, with pieces of coconut like grit throughout the gelato. That threw off the smooth texture I expected, but it was still good. They do not have much in the way of seating, counter seats running along a couple of walls. We also thought the cost was a little high. There are a handful of parking spots in front, shared with other businesses. Good luck scoring a spot.

The lady who worked there was kind and helpful. I thought it was a bit strange that they didn't have an option for getting one scoop. So my friend and I split the two scoop deal and she put a scoop in separate cups for us. I was a bit surprised that they didn't have a very big selection of flavors. They have other stuff though, such as; coffee, smoothies, and juice. It's located in a good spot to walk up to after a long day at the beach, or if you have a Sweet tooth.

I think I've made a habit of stopping in here on random holidays and honestly, no regrets. I first…read morecame on Valentine's Day when my now husband couldn't celebrate because of his situation, so I surprised him with a box of multiple desserts. They were a hit then, and they're still a hit now. This past weekend we picked out 12 different truffles with the intention of giving one to every guest who walked into our Friendsgiving... but the 5 of us who arrived on time ended up doing three rounds of tasting instead. Zero complaints, every single one was amazing in its own unique way. Norman never disappoints.

I was definitely caught off guard and the moment I opened the box I knew I was in for a treat... that said... you know what they say... you never know what you're gunna get. I opened the box to find that it included ice packs to ensure the chocolate didn't melt while on the way to my doorstop - much appreciated. Inside was the most beautiful packaging ever. It was branded, bright green, and even included a one sheeter on what each chocolate was. Once it was all unwrapped I was blown away at how incredibly goregous the chocolates were. I stood in awe for a minute and it took me a hot second to decided which one to try first. I'm not going to list out every single one but my favorites were the tiramisu, sea salt caramel truffle, pistachio, tahitian carmel, and strawberry. I made sure treasure each one and I'm still dreaming about them. If you're looking for a lovely gift for someone, or even looking to treat yourself, you won't be disappointed, I promise.
