However, he seemed to be in a rush, which made the experience feel less welcoming. I came hoping to try the tiramisu flavor because I had seen it on Yelp, but I was told it was only last week's flavor. I understand that flavors change and that they had just received a shipment, so not everything was available yet. I just wish there had been a little more guidance, such as letting first-time customers know where the current flavors are posted (I had to ask if they update them on Instagram). As a first-time customer, it would have been nice if he had asked whether I had visited before or explained how the rotating flavors work, instead of making me feel like I needed to quickly pick a flavor and move on. One other thing I noticed is that there isn't any seating inside. A few tables or chairs would make it a more enjoyable place to sit and enjoy the gelato. Overall, the gelato was good, and I appreciated being greeted and being able to sample a flavor before ordering. Now to the actual flavors, the variety was a bit limited but I have to say that the gelato was delicious. Nonetheless, I did not like the chocolate as it tasted fudgy and I did not get a single hint of the pistachio flavor. I also have to add that she closed the place at around 9:40 pm -20 minutes to closing time. I am saying this noting that the opening time is noted with a red marker on a masking tape, changing the opening time from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This information needs to be updated on the website, since people rely on the internet to get this information. I know someone might say that I should be reviewing the food (that is what the two stars are for), BUT customer service is a part of the experience, especially in a touristy place like Anna Maria. The Gelateria has a lot of potential but the customer service is a genuine loss to the business.

She was so warm with the kids and let us sample just about every flavor, which made the whole experience feel really personal. I had coconut and dark chocolate, the kids had vanilla, dark chocolate, and watermelon mint, and my husband also really enjoyed his choices (though I can't remember exactly what he picked). The original/older location seems to have a lot more available than the other as one seems heavily focused on muffins while the other has empanadas, and way more bakery variety. My muffin was great as was my chai latte. Service is pretty good at either location especially considering how busy these stores seem to be, but I also wasn't in a rush to get to work with breakfast. Something else to add is that the newer location definitely seems to have more space available inside before you consider the outdoor seating.
