I ordered the stracciatella and the croccante della nonna. Stracciatella is one of my favorite flavors of gelato, but I haven't found any place in NYC that makes it right. The chocolate chips are always too big or the gelato itself is too heavy. This place has THE BEST stracciatella. Super light and creamy, and the chocolate chips are light and crisp. I ordered the croccante della nonna because my server recommended it. INCREDIBLE!!! It's kind of like a salted caramel with crunchy nuts inside. Truly the best gelato I have ever had in my LIFE!

This place happened to be close to where we were staying and so I thought I should check it out. I am so glad I did :-))) A few ladies run the place and they have a massive counter with loads of flavours. Many flavours I knew and, many I had no idea what they were. It all looked amazing. They also had a huge section of cakes and ice cream on a stick dipped in chocolate, caramel and so on. I chose a tub with four flavours chocolate, Nutella, hazelnut and pistachio. A tub of about 10-12 scoops was about €10 for the whole lot including the styrofoam takeaway container....not bad at all :-)) The taste was amazing. I loved the pistachio the best and it was probably my best ever. I have had pistachio flavour over a thousand times and never this good. The hazelnut was also amazing as was the chocolate. It's too bad I did not get much time here as I would try each and every flavour to see :-))) I would happily come here any day for a wonderful gelato :-))) amazing :-)))
