    STATE FARM /Chuck Watkins Agency…read more PLEASE read!!! 10/25/23 9:05 am , Contacted Chet Watkins office in Bensalem PA, for a quote on car and homeowners insurance, spoke with Danielle the admin, then transferred me to Tom for a quote for car& home policy to be effective TODAY November 1st . Tom who was working from home as he was ill, after providing car/ property /personal information, given pricing. We approved, and Tom then began to enter the policy into the system which only took a few minutes... then said State Farm is not insuring Kia's in our year range due to high theft. we advised him we had a Club on the car, a GPS tracker, as well as the completed update with the Kia dealer (documented) . Tom said he would call Chuck Watkins directly to see if he could do anything. He called back in approximately 10 minutes or so and said unfortunately, State Farm declined to cover us and that the loss of the additional car & home discount would not make sense for us just to insure just our home with them. Tom apologized, said our best course of action was to contact other companies so we get the best discount and ended the call. Note: we of course signed with another company the following day at lower pricing and with no Kia or other issue whatsoever as we provided the same photos and documents State Farm declined to review. GETS WORSE...Today, November 1, 2023 we received a call from Jerry who had left two previous messages (10/27 & 10/31) stating his company was retained by State Farm to do a property inspection for our homeowners policy??? NOTE: If our policy needed to be in place at midnight, why would State Farm still have an inspection scheduled for today? I advised Jerry that State Farm declined to cover us and why they wouldn't and that we already signed with another company....Jerry advised he works for a third-party company that was contracted by State Farm and that the request is generated by State Farm at the agent level. WHAT???? Per my conversation with him, his company gets paid regardless, and the agent then appears as if they are actually doing something to gain business for State Farm? THEY declined US almost a week ago! WHAT? I've tried calling Chuck Watkins office three times this morning since 9 AM when the office is supposed to be open and staffed - Only voicemail ....curious as to who pays for that third-party inspection?? I'm sure the cost at some point rolls into the customers bills.... Disgraceful .... from my conversation with the inspector we were NOT a one off....that it happens all the time... What a disgrace to waste people's time ( ours and the inspectors) and money just so you look like you're doing something you actually aren't.... Shame on you... And yes, we contacted State Farm Corporate as well...... although you may have perceived us as old & retired, but we had professional careers and savvy in this digital age we all live in... reviews, and social media go a LONG way these days

    I was with this agency (We'll call them MP for simplicity) for about 6 years and went with them as…read morea good friend was employed there. After the first year my friend left the company and we stayed with the agency. We started shopping after a few years after no one from the agency ever reached out to check on us, see if life situations changed or anything related to making sure we had proper coverage. After all this is the main reason to go with an agent and buy direct isn't it? To make sure someone else is taking care of you when you are too busy to remember things like insurance renewals and updates? We recently moved and shopped with a new agency. This new agency provided MP with an Acord to cancel our auto policies effective 7/30/2020 and it was sent on 7/23/20 @ 1:38pm. MP employee Mike Dickson never processed the paperwork and we continued to be charged for an auto policy that was supposed to be canceled. Upon learning this I reached out to MP and Mike Dickson was not available so I asked for MP directly. I explained the situation to MP and told him I was unhappy that the paperwork was never processed. MP proceeded to tell me "IF we received it....." so I stopped him and gave him the exact date and time the email was sent to Dickson. He was going down a road to relieve himself of any wrong doing and place blame on others hiding behind the excuse that they didn't receive the email. After the very specific dates and times given he responded with "IF it was filled out properly you would have the premiums refunded", again insinuating that it was someone else's fault and not their own. I aaked if it was done wrong why wouldn't Dickson say something then and not just ignore it? At this point I was annoyed and asked why he kept saying IF this or IF that when clearly the form was sent, received, filled out properly, signed by my wife and no one in his office ever processed the paperwork. He should just assume some responsibility, apologize for the headache and make me whole again. He proceeded to get loud and we finally just started cursing at each other and then I hung up on him. This is what bad business people do. He is more concerned about being voted Montcos best by his friends on Facebook than he is actually being the best. Its simple, his agency didn't process legal paperwork, kept the policy on the books so he can get paid and then got defensive when called out. Thankfully the agency I switched too offered to handle this for me as MP seems to be a POS and I couldn't keep calm when someone messes up and then doubles down and blames others for their mistake. Be wary if switching here. Everything is fine until it isn't and they won't do what's best for you. That is the opposite of what an Insurance Agent is supposed to do. Mike

I recently had the pleasure of reconnecting with my former agent who had worked for a competitor. I had been with them for about 7 years and had a great relationship with the company. Although I wasn't exactly sure where to find them, I was able to locate them through a quick online search. I was thrilled to find out that they were still in the business and had joined a new company. I reached out to them and we were able to pick up right where we left off. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and I felt like they had my best interests at heart. I would highly recommend this agent to anyone looking for a reliable and experienced professional. The agent that I speak of his wife knows one of the girls that work here. Highly recommend this company. Just please one thing, no need to vote for bucks county. any insurance policy go to these guys, I used to deal with the ones across from Giant supermarket, that location moved. erie ins then I went to geico for 6 months and found , the agent was warren. warren rocked he knew his stuff for ins. This company had to help me switch because of different circumstances.
