I'm about 4 months late with this review, and am just a know nothing home owner but I've had them out twice this year and every interaction, from the office to the supervisor to the fantastic driver and new truck, has been pleasant and outstanding. They were responsive and quick and really helped me out of a bad spot ( a cesspool that hadn't been pumped or located for 30 years ). Can't recommend them highly enough ! read more

Would give negative stars. Submitted compliant to Hawaii Government Consumer Advocacy and Better Business Bureau. From 2017 to 2019 raised their operations and maintanence price for a 4 house CPR from $400 to $700 per month not included state required labs. This supposedly to have someone come each week to spend an hour and check the system. In three years the only time Gecko came is when we called to have the septic pump because we felt it was time. When I called to discuss the price hike, I was told they were not making enough profit and if I don't like the price get service somewhere else. Must not being hurting for business. With it being an island they are taking advantage of limited competition. Will keep working to find someone else. read more

They didn't have a ZERO star rating or I would have.... Wow is all I can say....Noe that answers the phone could be one of the rudest humans I have ever met. No one at that company seems to care at all about anything other than your money. They installed my septic system 8 years ago...incorrectly I might add. They cut corners at every opportunity they could. Sold me parts that were cheap and NOT up to par (maybe not even to code). Just had to have a pump replaced and they were the ONLY ones I knew of who could do it....I was cringing... Needless to say, I had to call them to come out. It was as expected, a HORRIBLE experience. They asked for payment UP FRONT!~!! Wow. Then, they quoted me the part I needed and come to find out that they were profitting on that part as well by $100 or more. I finally found someone else who could do the work. Sid, with Aqua Engineering.....WHAT A DIFFERENCE Nice, professional, resonable. Gecko Enterprises has a reputation and it's about as bad as it gets if you ask ANYONE in or around the N Shore that was forced to do business with them. STAY away at all costs! They charged us 250$ to pump our overflowing cesspool. As it turned out, 'fixing the cesspool' for them meant pumping out a few gallons from the top and then leaving everything the way it was without even replacing the lid properly. Within a day, the cesspool was overflowing again, though this time much more so because of the open lid. The entire yard was covered in a stinking muddy river of waste. We tried calling them several times a week over the next month, asking them to please come back and fix their mistake and were repeatedly told that the manager would call us back. He never did. In the end, the secretary told us that we 'lived too far away' and they were 'too busy to come', in other words: they had gotten their 250$ cash and couldn't care less whether they had actually done the job we had paid them to do. We ended up having to pay another guy 450$ to fix Gecko's mistake. Turns out, they are known for this kind of 'service'. read more

She was not rude to me in fact very sweet girl the daughter of the owner, but at the end of the day they get the job done the right way with care, confidence, and know how they earn my trust for all future septic sewage system repairs!!! (we are renters in hauula) A "disaster" happened in our 2nd bathroom that is detached from our home, mainly used it for storage of yard tools, cleaning products etc. as our home is small. Well 6AM on a Monday I discovered it... it was just the worst.. the septic backed up, property mgr. told me to clean it up.... I was devastated, I spent a good time online after that looking for codes and such, this was infectious waste material.. hepatitis, Ebola, salmonella, lizards squiggling through it going to the neighbors homes on there counters and drawers ... also the other wild life spreading it... Gecko finally calls me & was not aware of the gravity of what had occurred, now keep in mind it was the property mgr. that should of had some one right here (by law) and took her time about it not Gecko Ent...G.E. ends up understanding the issue when as soon as we start speaking on the call and the wonderful lady assured me that they would help me, I was kinda wrecked as we lost a lot of stuff and the pure grossness was just outrageous to me... bottom line "THEY DID HELP US" They went above and beyond in timing to get here (hauula folks always have to wait til the co will be in this area which usually is a week later) in being professionals and especially empathy in relation to this "disaster", they cleaned & sanitized the beyond gross situation which in turn kept any thing from spreading to neighbors and the community... I can not say enough good or praise GECKO ENTERPRISES enough ever. A TRULY HEART FELT THANK YOU IS IN ORDER. This company also made sure I had the paper work necessary for my renters insurance reimbursement... if you need the BEST give 'em a call... they are just fab x a million!!!!
