I started coming here based on a recommendation from a friend. So happy I listened. I've only had colonic services here and I highly recommend Tara World. She is so nice, gentle and informative. The sessions are great and the convo just flows. Clean establishment. No complaints. Been going here for about 3 years. read more

Im a world where it can be tough to speak with a live person when you call a business, it's wonderful to testify that here, during office hours, there is a welcoming HUMAN on the other end! This is especially true when the service you're receiving is...shall we say...intimate. I've been a customer here for decades, though more frequently of late, and have received consistent, high quality therapeutic services from my Colin hydrotherapist Lystra. For a process that can be less than pleasant, she provides gentle, effective and supportive care. 10/10. The following Services are currently available: Infra red therapy Colon irrigation (with coffee and/ or oxygen additive) When you get to the table just remember, "Let that --- go." Happy cleansing! read more

Everyone was pleasant and helpful full of knowledge I def will be back and recommend to my friends

I have been a client for years, and whole them in the highest regard. I am a wellness practitioner as well, and I recommend quite a few of my clients to them. I believe in self-love and care above all others as the body is your temple. That being said, nothing but Luv for them. I get the colonic and sauna as well as purchase products recommended for continual health. read more

I've been here for colonic treatments as well as the infrared sauna. The place is a hidden gem. The entire place is so warm and inviting. It's a haven in Brooklyn and the staff are so friendly and gentle. I definitely make this my go to for my holistic and wellness needs. read more

Update: Becasue of my issues, over my last few visits Dr. Ade started applying a lot more pressure. It pained and my body would shut down (tighten up) in defense which to me was counterproductive. I spoke with him about my concerns on this vist because he has always asked me to say what works and what doesn't for me. He listened, applied the amount of pressure I could tolerate and this vist was wonderful. I literally felt the tightness in my joints easing away. Thanks again Dr. Ade! You and your hands. The End. read more

This isn't your typical review but if your'e a Yelp Elite eating tons of amazing food around the world you may want to try this. I came to Geb Hetep to try a colonic for the first time. I was overindulging in food and drink and decided that I should probably try a cleanse. Tara was my colonic specialist and she made my experience very pleasant. The room smelt good (they are BIG on essential oils here), it was clean and the dim lighting all curated a very relaxing vibe. The session lasted about 45 minutes. Never once did Tara leave the room and for about 25 of those minutes she rubbed my stomach to get stuff moving. The entire time she explained what everything was, how it worked and what she would be doing before she did it. I was extremely nervous but Tara made me feel the most ease possible. The session was $95 and again lasted about 45 minutes. They will give you a gown to put on upon arrival as soon as you get in. This center is located in a Brownstone on a nice quiet block in Crownheights BK. I would definitely recommend and definitely be returning! read more

Guen was very welcoming and extremely professional. The place is exceptionally clean. She answered my questions with great professionalism. It was my first colonic, and she made me feel completely comfortable. Guen's colonic therapy was a transformative experience. Her expertise and calming demeanor ensured a comfortable session. Colonics are now a part of my overall health practices, along with exercise and wise nutrition. As a testimonial, I weighed before and after my treatment, and my weight was reduced by 4 pounds. I left feeling refreshed, with improved digestion and a newfound sense of well-being. I have shared my experience with many of my friends. I highly recommend Guen for anyone seeking holistic health solutions. I can't wait for my next treatment. read more

I hadn't been to Get Hetep in close to 10 years. I recently visited to give my colon a reset. The facility is located on the first floor of a building. The room's blinds/curtains were not down so I was nervous someone could look inside from outside. I wish I could give a better review but I got no warning when the tube was going in or out. I Both times were painful so I will not be going back. read more

I've been coming here for over 20 years and the staff, the atmosphere and services are impeccable. Love Tara, she is the absolute best! Whenever I need a release, I always book an appointment with Tara, she's AWESOME! read more

Tara World is a gift. I recently wrapped up a 3 hydrotherapy session package that I invested in at Geb Hetep. It was my first experience with Hydrotherapy having come from an incomplete, botched and abusive session at another center elsewhere in Brooklyn. I was understandably nervous. Tara put me at ease immediately and was so supportive. I couldn't have asked for a better healer to work with and an all around delightful person to know. The center is warm and inviting and just feels like home. I will be back and hope you have a chance to go there as well. read more

Lystra was very calming and took away the nervousness of my first experience. She found the problem areas and kneaded them out with a gentle strength. I also booked the sauna which was a different experience for me, being used to a steamed sauna, it used infrared heat. There was a lot of privacy throughout the process. The shower feels like you're home. You don't need to bring anything as it is all provided except for deodorant if you wear it. I was thinking if there were any sanitary way to provide deodorant and came up with nothing, so I figure that's why. The price is a bit high but so is everywhere else without a groupon and I doubt those places provide the level of individual care. There is a current sale until the end of May and the bundles bring the price down. I hope to return sooner than later. read more

Wonderful place. I had the pleasure of doing a series of colon hydrotherapy sessions. Tara was my hydrotherapist and she's the best. She explained the process and made me feel at ease--no pun intended. My results were great, my stomach pain and digestive issues have eased. Overall I've had more energy. I look forward to booking another series soon and I'd recommend this place. read more

I had my first visit last month. The place smelled amazing. It was clean and Tara was so helpful. Helen performed my colonic and she was informative. Honestly my colonic was not fun. not because of her but just in general. Not sure if I would do it again but if I decide too I will return to Geb Hetep. A plus is that it's black owned. read more

I Love GebHetep....I Simply Love Lystra....I have been going to her for years!!! She is the best!!!

Personalized attention in an intimate and safe environment. Great results. I recommend them!!

Five stars are not enough to rate this wonderful health oasis. I discovered Geb Hetep center when they were located on Flatbush Avenue, over the years I lost contact with them, then, imagine my joy when I found them again. My husband and I have reconnected with Lystra again and we are very happy that we have. Lystra is kind, calm and very knowledgeable she makes the session relaxing and productive. The overall all atmosphere of the center is one of peace and tranquillity, from the beginning to end. Lystra is so talented, she only has to touch certain areas of my colon to get things moving. My husband and I are fans of the Geb Hetep Center and of Lystra in particular. read more

Went to this place yesterday to get a colonics for the very first time on my birthday and it was a good experience. I was nervous, scared and had no idea what to expect but my therapist Gwen was amazing. Gwen was very professional and knowledgeable in explaining the procedure and comforted me through the entire process. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back very soon for another colonic with Gwen! read more

Colonics are 22-30 mins. It's definitely not the 45min-60 mins you get other places. Service is average and can be very unprofessional! I have been getting colonics for over seven years and when I left I didn't feel clean and light like I usually do because you're on the table for a short period. There's better places in Brooklyn for colonics. Don't waste your time! read more

Not a newbie when it comes to colon hydrotherapy. I have visited a different colon hydrotherapist multiple times in the past and I must say these ladies are very legitimate. I just had a colonic here on Fri. the 26th. I was very nervous and apprehensive due to previous experiences. But much to my relief it was not painful at all, and it was very beneficial. I was paired with Ms Yocheved and luckily so. She has a less orthodox technique that seems to expel more gas and feces with the least amount of discomfort. She is very learned and explains what she will be doing and why. The atmosphere is very friendly and bright. Its quite comfortable and private. If you are thinking about getting a colonic, I would suggest this place...and Ms Yocheved, she has the experience and knows what she is doing. read more
