I postted already but I'm posting again because I hate for anyone to go thru what I went thru just made a year with a used vehicle that I purchased from these people and I've had an oil filter issue, a water coolant issue, a motor mount issue, a rotor issue, a battery issue and who knows what's next these people at this dealership are crooks and are selling cars that were damaged by the storm that happened in 2022 do not trust them they will seem nice and friendly but their not a complete and total rip off!!! I purchased a 2022 Spark Activ on September 14, 2022, New, 4 miles My Salesman is always a kind, knowledgeable, professional, with very good communication skills! Andre Wilson is his name! From the time I had to bring my car in for service it's been an issue with the tires, every time I would go Danielle would give me a hard time, and a story that made no sense! Just to avoid having to deal with her, I purchased a tire compressor, yesterday was the finally for me! (February 27,2025) I took my car in for an oil change, and my tires to be rotated, which means the tires were taken off of the car! I left and didn't notice a fresh set of scratches on the rim on the passenger side untill I got ready to take my dog out of the car on the passenger side, I put her in from the drivers side, I was at Destrehan Animal Hospital when I noticed it! I immediately called to speak to Danielle about it, she asked me to send a picture, I sent a picture of the scratches, she asked for a Picture of the whole tire, I sent it! When I left the Clinic I stopped at the Dealership, I felt in my spirit Danielle had her plan to try and make me appear to be a problem, she got the Mgr. Involved, he took her side if course, I was upset, and just left! My Neice asked me about dealing with Geaux Chevrolet, I strongly told her NO! Go to Toyota! I hate resorting to the race card, but I have been made to feel like my skin is my sin there! I will never purchase or recommend any one to shop there! I wash my own car, and I did two weeks ago, thise scratches weren't there! I put gas in my car a few days ago, those scratches weren't there! Danielle said there are no places that we would have driven to scrape the tire! The tires were taken OFF to be rotated! As if the scratches could have happened by reaching and scraping them on the ground, or with an object. As I told her, thus really feels personal! I would absolutely never bring my truck here again. I was sold a faulty alternator that only lasted 6 months. Luckily I had warranty on the one purchased from them. When I had my truck towed to them to pick up my new alternator I was told I would have to pay $582 for labor. I explained to Danielle as I did the with first purchase I did not need them to install it just give me a new alternator. I was then told I would not be able to get my truck without paying for the labor although I didn't want them to install it. When I arrived to pick up my truck the price went from $583 plus tax to $683. I was charged tax plus an environmental fee which was not disclosed over the phone. I contacted the dealership on Sunday to let them know I was interested in a first time vehicle for my son. They contacted me the next morning to ask me if I was interested in a test drive. I said yes I could be there at 6 pm after my son got of school and after school activities. She confirmed the appointment. I drove thirty minutes to the dealership where a salesman greeted me and I waited for thirty minutes to find out that the vehicle was getting serviced. It was in the shop and they were waiting for a part that was needed for the brakes. They tried to sell us a vehicle that was out of our price range and vehicles that we would have to take out loans for. They should have told us ahead of time that the vehicle was in the shop and they were waiting for a part instead of trying to sell us overpriced vehicles including brand new vehicles. I was told by a salesman named Ray that a vehicle was in stock. He sent photos and spoke highly of the vehicle. I was ready to put a down payment on it, since I was out of town. He tried to convince me that it would be better for me to finance through their lender then refinance with my lender who had a better rate. We were not willing to fall for predatory lending practices. Then he stopped returning texts and calls. We had to call a manager to find out the truck had sold. The whole thing felt dishonest.
