The online selection of eBooks for my Kindle is outstanding and the books I request online are always ready for pick-up when requested. Physically, the facility is great. Nice lush greenery sits outside the vintagey looking building and the inside has clean, organized stacks and local art. Like most of Chagrin Falls, its just a cute place. That's beyond the scope of this review, though. I stopped into the library to see the opening of the exhibit commemorating the tenth anniversary of the Cavs' NBA Championship. I left after a four hour visit that included: -an escape room with a magnet as the prize -a scavenger hunt with a free t-shirt at the end -seeing the exhibit (which also included the Calder cup!) -meeting two artists who did artwork for the exhibit and getting autographed posters from one -sending unlimited free postcards of the library, the exhibit, and Cleveland -multiple coloring sessions and word searches -a free lunch from a taco truck (there was also cheesesteak and egg roll options) -watching people make me a button, tote bag, key chain, sticker, and coasters -making a stress ball -decorating a cookie and also getting a cupcake to bring home -meeting moondog -seeing tons of stuff, including a chess set of salt and pepper shakers, menus from the original stouffers, and the Superman pajamas I had as a kid in the library's regular exhibits I'm sure I'm forgetting something. I had forgotten how grand the library is. It is definitely a hidden gem. CPL is worth a visit for any visitor and local. The Superman exhibit was small but had many items of interest. The staff was very helpful in guiding us around the building. I really enjoyed the special collections that included menus from old Cleveland restaurants. As we walked around we spoke to staff. They were all very friendly. If you are going for reading material the CPL collection seemed enormous.

This summer, there's been soooo many titles I've wanted to read. I find myself walking out of this branch with 4-6 books at every visit. I frequent various Cuyahoga County Public Library branches often. When it comes to Solon, I particularly love how quick their request-a-book is. In case you didn't know, you can log directly onto their website and put a hold on a book. If they don't have it, you can still request it from a different branch and have it sent to Solon. Boom, they'll email you when its ready, and you can pop in and pick it up from a shelf, where it will wait with your name on it. Between retrieval and self-check out, you only have to spend 2 minutes weaving through all the children (thank god). Towards the front of the library, they have a well-stocked selection of fiction titles ranging from drama, to biography, to chick lit, to mystery. They're also great about adding little stickers that say "New in June" and labeling the release of recent popular titles. I'm a frequent GoodReads user and Amazon browser, and 8 times out of 10, I can usually find what I'm looking for on these shelves. When was the last time you read something great? Go to the CCPL, browse the titles, or request-a-book online! Patronize your local libraries, Yelpisphere!

Love the play away books and they have a terrific selection that just gets better every time we visit. This library is always busy but still quiet. The other patrons are respectful and the staff is friendly. Love it here and always look forward to visiting. Only two issues, they are not open friday nights (so you can't pick up some last minute movies to watch that night) and people in this parking lot are terrible, terribly drivers (just park way out on the fringes and you'll be fine).

I asked the info librarians who sit at a station in the middle of the room about it. You don't have to bring any puzzles, or like me, I brought seven puzzles and took seven home. There are puzzles for all ages, tho mostly adult type puzzles. Kids puzzle are welcomed. I enjoyed looking at all of them and chatting with a few people doing the same.

You do have to reserve a room in advance but, that's not a problem. I've gotten a conference room or a classroom for the entire day!!! What I was confused about is how the books are organized because it is not by author nor by used/new. I'm pretty sure new books were placed right next to pre-owned ones on the same shelf... I did enjoy all the gift and merchandise displays. They were all set up in a way that looked irresistible to buy! My BF bought this photography coffee table book he was really excited about and I got a children's novel illustrated by Jon Klassen (big fans!).
