They had my vehicle diagnosed within an hour after another repair shop took almost 3 weeks and could not find the problem They were in constant communication with me advising me all along I cannot speak well enough of this facility even though I had a terrible week and kind of took it out on them when I picked up my vehicle Dave and Phil maintained their professionalism and composure My Tahoe is running perfect once again thanks to your shop Again, I apologize for being short with you and can only hope you'll understand it was only stress You guys are really good!

I made it clear the issue was on the right side, but they diagnosed the left strut as the problem and told me it was a safety concern. Based on their advice, I approved all repairs. Despite noting it was our only vehicle, they never contacted us when it was ready. On the drive home, the right strut (the side I had originally reported) failed, causing more damage and put my wife, children, and others at risk. When we returned, they admitted the right strut was unsafe but only offered to fix it at full cost again. The invoice also showed a deferred repair that was never mentioned to me. Other issues included: - Car left unlocked with a dead battery at pickup. - Owner admitted being "too busy to document things." - I was signed up for XM promotions without consent. - Staff gave inconsistent explanations of the damage. This experience was a financial and personal hardship. I sold my motorcycle to cover the first repair, only to have the same problem get worse. I left feeling misled, unsafe, and dismissed. Between the misdiagnosis, poor communication, and lack of accountability, I cannot recommend this shop to anyone.

Gary wants you to be totally satisfied and will go above and beyond expectations to ensure you are happy with his service. I have a wheelchair-accessible van which needed some transmission work done on it. After getting some estimates and wanting to use a local business, I took it to Transmission Specialists. While it took a couple of weeks to get the repairs done, I was very happy with what it cost. Shortly after, I took the van on a trip to Florida. Unfortunately, the transmission stopped working after 300 miles on the road, and I was stranded in Cincinnati for five days. Gary worked with a transmission shop in the area, including sending a replacement part to fix the issue. After five days I was on the road again. This time the transmission shut down after 100 miles, and I had the van towed to a dealership. They had the van for four days and couldn't diagnose what the problem was. So, Gary, AT HIS OWN EXPENSE, drove over 400 hundred miles in wintery conditions to pick up the van and haul it back to Freeland. He then took the transmission apart and replaced a key component. Later he took it on a road trip to Traverse City with no issues. On the return trip he started troubleshooting, experimenting with different accessories working together, and discovered an ELECTRICAL issue that caused the transmission to stop working when the cruise control and the windshield wipers were both turned on. So, Gary was able to diagnose the root cause what a transmission shop in Cincinnati and a Toyota dealership in Lexington, KY, could not. I will recommend Transmission Specialists to anyone who needs a reliable, trustworthy mechanic for their vehicle.

We left it there in February while we were vacationing for three weeks. It wasn't ready when we got back. It took another week. The main problem was fixed but it started having another issue so we brought it back to them April 7th for a rebuild. We didn't get my truck back until May 8th. There is only one mechanic on duty.
