Thought our trip was done for and we were about to get stuck paying crazy out-of-town repair prices. Found Jessie the mobile mechanic on Yelp, gave him a call, explained the situation, and he immediately said he could come to us and fix it on the spot. He quoted me a fair price over the phone and actually kept his word -- which sadly is rare these days. Him and his wife showed up quickly, replaced the radiator fast, and had my family back on the road with almost no interruption to our trip. These internal conflicts seem to be externalized through hostility and inappropriate behavior like posting on a Yelp page to get attention. It may be preferred according to Mazda, but it's not necessary. I drive a 2023 Mazda CX30 Carbon Edition and the best price at Mazda with coupons is $130.00, plus I have to drive all the way to Palm Springs. I had a great experience from the beginning, through the online portal, researching services and looking for any available deals. It was super easy to sign up and get a quote. When I had arrived to Jiffy Lube, I pulled into the parking lot, parked my car and as I was getting ready to exit my vehicle, I was approached and welcomed by a representative, named Angela. I was very surprised to see a member of their team come outside to see how she could help me. I did not have a scheduled appointment, and I hadn't called to say I was on my way, so when I was greeted at my car door I thought it was awesome. Angela was very kind, her demeanor was pleasant, she is very knowledgeable, and professional. I admired her willingness, and enthusiasm in providing great customer service, while addressing the reason for my visit. I felt seen, and heard which are two very important aspects or details when I am dealing with any kind of business. Just a basic understanding of what it is that I wanted without all the extra fluff, while answering all the questions I had. The entire team were amazing, my experience was a great one and I would highly recommend anyone to take their vehicles to Jiffy Lube, Indio. I can't speak to other services aside from an oil change, but I'd be willing to bet they would do an excellent job, at a very reasonable price. Hopped on the wi-fi and finished up some correspondence. After about a half hour, I was called and told my car was ready. Wow! That didn't take long. When I asked what I owed them for the service the reply was' "Oh, you don't owe us anything. It's part of the service we provide our customers!" What a fantastic way to build customer loyalty. Follow up is apparently an optional service for the managers of americas tire. On Saturday, I had a 9am appointment. I was told service would be completed by 1045am. The receipt the tech handed me said 955am estimated. The completion text message came in at 935am. At 1115, 2hrs after my appointment, 3 hours after arrival and check in, i asked for my vehicle. The tech told me "looks like the got the tires on but not the alignment." Wrong. Not only did they not put the tires on over a nearly 3 hour period, they attempted to keep my new tires. After be assured we would be contacted regarding the issue on Monday- we finally revived a phone call from Larry on Wednesday offering to "comp" the installation. 1. It's not comp'd installation if it happens nearly a week after the original appointment. And 2, Wednesday is not Monday, Larry. Do better.
