Armor came in and did some trouble shooting. Instead of trying to throw parts at it, the investigated and found the problem. I am sooo grateful for Armor and the great job they did. This literally saved me thousands! The problem was a manual valve that had moved to the closed position over time and was not allowing the cool air upstairs. I almost trusted the wrong company. When I first called to schedule an appointment, their customer service was top-notch. They were able to fit me in for a consultation quickly. Adam was able to diagnose our HVAC issues quickly. He then gave us a few options on repairing our existing system or replacing it due to the age of the system. Very, very disappointed! Three months ago our heater would not turn off, and when I came home one…read moreday, our house was 85 degrees! We called B&B, and an HVAC tech came to our house. The tech climbed in our attic, where our unit is located, banged around until the heater clicked and turned off. The job took about 5 minutes. I wrote him a check for $75 thinking everything was good to go. Fast forward to Jan 1st 2013... Came home and house was 89 degrees. Heater would not turn off. Called B&B very upset asking why my heater was doing the EXACT same thing I "thought" I had fixed 3 months ago!?! Well, it turns out the HVAC tech really did just BANG on the unit until the fan relay broke connection. He never fixed anything! Receptionist said she would send the same tech him back to my house with a part to actually fix the unit. She told me we would not be charged another service fee. We were only responsible for payment of the part. NOTHING ELSE!!! The tech arrived later that day - he met my husband at the house- and had the wrong part! He then started writing up another service ticket for coming out. Another $75 charge! My husband called me after the guy left and told me the tech said he knew it needed a new part last time- he even wrote it on the service ticket! I called the office back to tell them what had happened. The receptionist acted like the tech was a complete idiot! Which he was! She told me she would send him back out with the correct part and not charge us for anything else. We hung up and she called the tech. She called me back afterwards to set up a time, and things had changed. Now, she told me we had to pay for the part PLUS the time it takes him to put it on! WHAT!?!? **side-note** the part only needs plugged in. Nothing more. I spoke to my husband who told me they were just trying to get more money from us, so I'm buying the part from them, driving to their office today to pick it up, and WE ARE GOING TO PLUG IT IN OURSELVES! DO NOT USE B&B!! THEY DO NOT KEEP THEIR WORD AND THEIR TECHS ARE SHADY!!

For the rental home, I purchased a brand new heating/cooling system from Paschal, this being before I knew about Kinty. My personal home ended up having a starter issue with the a/c. I called KJ and they came out and had it running in no time. Shortly afterwards, my rental had an issue with their brand new unit. The thermostat kept shutting off and thus, not working. It shut the whole system down. They have small children. When I called Paschal, I got a call center. The girl stated that she couldn't give me an idea when they could come out as it was a Friday. From that point in it was outstanding service. The scheduling process was quick with a technician arriving on-site within 48 hours. This was greatly appreciated as all other companies were at least 7-10 days out. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and very personable, professional and polite. We were adviyof all possible options to fix our unit but decided to go with a new unit as our existing unit was over 20 years old.
