This Perez's first name is Fermin. The first project was painting my house and rebuilding a huge rotten deck. You should have seen the meticulousness he works on anything. For example, he used Timbertech for the flooring and pressure treated wood for support, That was 4 years ago and still looks brand new. He returned in 2026 for a medium project painting my 50 yr old house and replacing the front door threhold and refinishing both the threshold and door just like he was a furniture refinisher and now looks new!! He is always very respectful, nice, as his son who is very nice and they both work hard. He is not cheap and neither is his work and when you see the little details you appreciate a master craftman. That's why Mike S. is on the wrong page! I see all the time people who write "I want someone who is cheap and does good work." Folks, those two don't go together! But if you want a job done right the first time and you don't have to hire another crew who you don't know to fix the work of the first crew who messed up. (i've heard that story hundreds of time!! We found this company on the Facebook and were excited that they said they could come the next day…read more The area that needed to painted was too high for us to reach(my 64 year-old mother and I had been painting the house this summer). Daniel brought an assistant and they seem very nice. We had the paint (I also had the ceiling paint but Daniel said they had paint). We asked for our entryway ceiling to be painted and Daniel did the stairway as he said he wanted it to look nice. They charged us $600 (there was 1 wall needing to be painted) and the trim on the 4 others in the staircase. At first glance, not looking closely, I said thank you paid them and tip them $40 so they could have lunch. They were in and out in 2 hours. My Mom had mentioned other work needed and they said they knew how (they are hustlers!) as I walked thru my staircase the paint was dripping everywhere on the walls as they applied 2 coats quickly. There were spots ALL over where the wall was going to need multiple coats. The ceiling was done so quickly that the yellow that had gotten on the ceiling was not covered. I am not a professional painter but my work is better. This smooth talker scammed my mom who is on disability out of $600 and was targeting her for more high priced work. Look at these photos. Unfortunately I fixed the runs before I took pictures but you can see the unfinished work (all the dark showing thru). The did not tape anything off so details like my white shelf the left unfinished (probably because they knew I would do it) there was yellow on the ceiling barely covered by white. I contacted Daniel and he told me the painted need to dry. He then said he could come do the other work for my mom and touch up the paint. I declined because 1) I did not want my walls further damaged, 2) I did not want my mom's kindness taken advantage of. I asked him to return $200 (I felt $400 was more than fair for 2 hours of unprofessional work or let's call it the experience of Daniel and Crew). Its a shame that nice people are taken advantage off. I felt like because we were 2 women we were taken advantage of. I've been painting my home all summer and know that you can not just put thick paint over the wall to cover the other color. I only hired this team because I didn't have a way to get to the top. He blocked me on Facebook and now I'm out $640 I'll have to sand some of the area we're the paint was running and we gently rolled it but it made our walks look textured. Now because we don't trust anyone my 64 year old mother and myself will have to get something and climb up to a place we don't feel comfortable to fix our walls. Don't uses these guys they are over priced and they act like they are going to do quality work but really they just rush the work and run off with your money!

I encountered issues with Northside Remodeling during a basement renovation. I learned they had…read morehandled the permit application for our renovation without our knowledge or approval. They named themselves as the contractor on our permit without us contracting with them. After reaching out to the county for a copy of the application, I discovered that details were added to our form after my signature, without any notification to me. Not only was I surprised to see Northside Remodeling and Willie Middleton's name on the permit & application, I was extremely surprised to find my signature on a document I didn't fill out. This unexpected change left me feeling very uneasy, questioning the level of honesty with this business. The basement project itself was rife with issues - rough-in plumbing done incorrectly, window egress not installed to code, framing not complete or installed correctly. In Georgia, the licensed contractor on the permit is accountable and responsible for the work to be done to code. We have since had to hire a new contractor and pay additional money to fix these errors. It wasn't the smooth experience I hoped for, and I personally would want to find a company that emphasizes clear and upfront communication.
