Inside you will find a number of collectible vinyl records for decent prices as well as many other random items and some vintage clothing. In coming here I wasn't to sure what to expect but what we found was an awesome little shop that's keeping the music scene alive by having shows of all different types of music to entertain the crowd. During music events it seems as if you have to enter through the back alley way which is kinda nice because there is a decent size parking lot there and you don't have to walk to far. The shop itself is rather small as in there was about 30 people here watching the band and it was packed just enough so that it wasn't hard to move around. The sound was awesome all the bands sounded really good and overall this was a great time as the people who own the store were very nice and helpful as well. Overall if your looking to see a band in a small shop that's full of super cool vinyl and just a totally positive environment overall then you've found the place! I'm not sure when I will be back here again but I'd definitely come back as we had a good time and enjoyed an awesome music event!

He is very organized and my son always has fun. We moved to Irvine about 1 year ago and my son had been taking drum lessons for about 2 years before we moved. My son has improved more in the 6 months of drum lessons with Chris than the previous two years with the other teacher. I highly recommend Chris, he is a great drum teacher and such a great role model for young kids.

Wow, I'm so glad we found Tweena!…read more We wanted our 5 year-old to begin piano lessons. We checked with our neighbors and friends and explored a couple of options. Most were ladies offering lessons in their homes. They had excellent reviews. But my wife talked to Teeena, and she offered a complimentary lesson. Heck yeah. My wife had a 'feeling' about Tweena. Tweena's studio is on the second floor of the historic Santora Building in DTSA. The building is beautiful, and Tweena's space in the southwest corner fronts Broadway and the arts plaza with Lola Gaspar, the Gypsy Den and the CSUF art space. The ceilings are maybe 20 feet high. Beautiful oak flooring. Nicely decorated. There is an ample reception room with a couch for waiting. One studio is smaller, while the large practice space is probably 400 square feet, with a grand piano and electric, as well. That's where our daughter takes her lessons. I love going in there. It is like going back in time. We knew this was the place for our daughter following that first lesson. My wife's 'feeling' totally validated. Tweena is young, and she knows how to interact with kids, while commanding their attention and respect. Our daughter loves her lessons, and she is learning quickly, so quickly that we are struggling to keep up with her! Tweena also gave us some excellent advice about whether to buy a baby grand or an electronic piano. I can't recommend Tweena highly enough. She is all we could have wished for as a piano teacher for our daughter. Plus, you are in DTSA with all the food opportunities to experience! We couldn't be more pleased.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM MUSIC LESSONS HERE…read more We traded in our son's violin for a pair of clarinet lessons with Victor, who I would not trust around anyone's children. Our 11 year old son, who loves the clarinet and absolutely loves music class in school, was shamed for not being as good a clarinet player as the instructor (who spent a considerable amount of time during the lesson showing off and playing the instrument instead of trying to teach). The instructor, Victor, ridiculed our son for not knowing how to read music well, and also took posters down off of the walls when he said the boy was being distracted.  When our son was crying, the instructor, Victor, even blamed our son and said, "Why are you crying? I didn't do anything." This clarinet instructor, Victor, is absolutely terrible with children and I can't believe he does this for a living. After the session, he was brazen enough to psychoanalyze the child IN FRONT OF HIM and say that "he doesn't take constructive criticism well." Telling someone that they aren't good enough or  are doing something wrong is not constructive criticism. There's nothing constructive about derisive language. An entry-level child student is looking for instruction, support, and uplifting, not negative reinforcement. Instead of clarinet lessons, what we received was abuse and an insult to music instructors everywhere. TERRIBLE. 0/5 stars

When I got my bass back I couldn't turn any of the knobs without the sound cutting out. But I guess it was my mistake to assume that you guys would to a proper job. Additionally, you guys told me that you guys would call before starting the repair to give me a quote but that never happened. I just received a call after the fact. The person who first helped me called and told me the repair would be 35$ but when I came in to the store the guy tried to charge me 45$ and when I told him about the price that I was given his response to me was "well she didn't fix the bass." Anyways, I'm over this, but don't try to act like you guys have done nothing wrong.

Took in a Bajoquinto to adjust the nut (hueso). They did that, but it fell off a month and a half…read moreafter the service was done. They glued it again free of charge, however, the nut no longer made full contact. On one end there's no contact on two sides (left/bottom) due to them sanding down the wood way too much. They also chipped my Bajoquinto which adds to no contact issue. He then proceeded to suggest paying for a new nut and service. The worker guaranteed his work was good but he would not give me assurance the store guaranteed the service. Two very different guarantees. They denied my request for a refund. DO NOT BRING YOUR INSTRUMENTS HERE. Horrendous and heartbreaking work. Take it to professionals. No stars.
