This is my first visit to this practice and I'm not happy. First of all I do not like to wait. I arrived at 1:50pm for my 2:30 pm appointment, it's 2:45pm and I'm still waiting. This is the first sign that this place is not going to work. The reception area is very drafty and cold. The rooms look very old and could use a good renovation. Dr. Ndubuizu is very kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. I have no complaints about her. The office is very clean and I like the check in kiosk. But the wait time was really long. I had an appt scheduled for 9:30 am. Around 9:55, I went to the front desk to ask if the doctor would be much longer. They went and checked and came back to tell me she'd be 5 more minutes. Around 10:05, someone finally called my name. But then I had to wait another 20 or so minutes before the doctor actually came into my room. I know it's flu season and maybe they got bombarded with sick appts. But it's definitely frustrating to have a scheduled appt and wait an hour after your scheduled time to see the doctor. read more

GBMC, Perry Hall continues to be horrible!!! A disaster! We have yet another complaint about this failing medical practice! This time, my wife was on the bad end of this failing medical practice. I left this office over a year ago after it took me 3 weeks of requests to have my blood pressure medicine refilled. I called and called, left messages, sent emails, the pharmacy faxed over numerous requests, etc. Nothing!!! I went in person and left messages....nothing. All this was after I saw a new, unethical excuse for a doctor. Finally I filed a formal complaint with Greater Baltimore Medical Center and with the Maryland Board of Physicians, and my medication was miraculously refilled within an hour. Then they had the nerve to keep calling me to see if I was satisfied. Ugly conversations! Meanwhile during the year leading up to that incident, their customer/patient service was going downhill quickly. They'd always blame it on being short staffed, new phone systems, new computer system, etc. BS!!! Anyhow, my wife decided to stay with her physician at GBMC Perry Hall. Today, she discovered my discontent and disdain for this practice. She had a lunch time appointment with them. They take her back and she dressed in a examination gown. An hour and a half passed without any communications, and still no doctor. She finally got dressed and left without being seen by a doctor.....She gets out on the parking lot and finds the doctor and staff smoking on the parking lot. Needless to say she was hot! Fact: The medical profession is a service! Many times it's a very necessary service, but nevertheless they provide a service. Making it worse, it's a very expensive service. Customer/Patient satisfaction is vital. No one, doctor or whomever, has the right to screw you over with piss poor service and then think they can charge you out the butt for it! Demand better and let these people know about it! New complaints filed today! This office is a joke! That office once had a doctor that I liked and respected, but she left. The doctors and the office has sank quickly ever since. I stayed because it was convenient to my house, but I quickly learned that distance traveled is not worth dealing with arrogant doctors and piss poor customer service. My wife, being in the medical profession, figured she'd begin her complaint process with their practice manager. She found out as I did, that person is NEVER in the office. She only worried about my complaint when I went well above her head! If you're looking for a doctor, avoid this office at all cost. If you're currently a patient there and have noticed what we've seen, get out fast. It's not going to improve. There's much better doctors out there and offices that are ran and managed much better and much more efficiently than this joke of a doctor's office! read more

AVOID THIS DYSFUNCTIONAL OFFICE AND DR. Ndubuiuz. I have called, messaged and talked to the clinic manager. Seriously this is the worst patient care I have ever received. I called Tuesday to check on my referral that I have repeatedly requested. This is my FIFTH GOD DAMN REQUEST!!! She first ignore CVS's numerous attempts(4-6 Times) to refill my much needed medication. They then messaged me to let me know you denied it because of lack of response. I submitted another refill request for the same medication, which at this point I am completely out of. You sit on that for 3 days!! THREE DAYS?!? You have got to be kidding with this. The lack of communication, compassion and patient service is the worst I have ever seen. My quality of life, having her as my PCP is the worst it has ever been. read more

Everyone was so friendly, helpful and professional. The office is clean and well ran. The location is convenient.

My doctor is very good, but it's pretty much impossible to get anyone on the phone. You get put on hold for ten minutes then they transfer you to the answering machine and never call you back. The only way to get through is to call the main hospital in Towson and have the operator call them while you're on the line. read more

This was my first visit at this office and it was pleasant from check in to check out. My appt was for a new patient annual visit which can usually take a long time but I went in at 345 pm and was checked out by 445 PM. The receptionist at the front desk was very pleasant and made sure I understood what I was signing. Dr. Spadley listened to all my concerns and made recommendations based on what I was saying. I am excited to reccomend her to anyone I come across. Great experience! read more

The doctors are very nice but that is the only positive with this office. It's impossible to reach them over the phone and when you leave messages, they never answer. I even left 10+ emails trying to cancel an appointment, didn't hear anything back then received a letter in the mail as a "warning" for not cancelling and how I wasted the doctors time. Incompetent. Poor customer service. Poor communication. Appointments cancelled without notification twice. I contacted their office in reference to a medical form that I need it completed for my daughter's childcare provider. I was told to fax it to them which I did on Friday. When I contacted The office the following week, The form was not completed and they stated that they never received the fax even though I have my confirmation. read more

This office and Dr. Ndubuizu are a joke. She promises to send prescription refills and never does. Takes days or weeks to get calls back. I was just there last Thursday for my annual checkup. She said she was refilling my prescriptions right then. Today is Monday and i am out of maintenance and other meds and I am being told by the receptionist that she wont refill them until I get my blood work done. She DID NOT say that at my appointment. Now I am suffering from some withdraw symptoms and have to find time for my labs before she will prescribe my meds that I have been on for years. These meds are even something that my labs will show. one is for my anxiety and trust me this has pushed my to the limits. She is basically holding my prescription hostage. She refused to even take my phone call when I was very upset with the receptionist. Useless is all i can say. Been terrible there since Dr. Greenberg and Bernadette left. DO N0T GO THERE!! This must be the worst clinic in Baltimore. I have been torturing myself by going there for almost 5 years. I love the Doctors there, but they keep leaving! The problem is the staff! It can take over a week to get a prescription refilled! I continue to go 3 to 10 days without my blood pressure medication or other prescriptions! I don't get return calls, and I'm on hold for 40 minutes only to get disconnected!! I need to make a change. It's affecting my work and health. I was talking to a Doctor there that was filling in and they didn't understand why they have such a high turnover rate there. At there GBMC at another location, their Doctor's have been there for over 10 plus years. I'm lucky to keep one for a year!!! read more

I don't usually write reviews about Doctor offices. The ones I've been to are pretty good about referrals, but let me tell you about this one. When a patient put in a request for a referral and you call back to confirm you would think that the office sent it over to your specialist already.... that is not the case. Now sitting in the specialist office, with no referral. I'm not sure if they sit on their thumbs all day, but the incompetency is unacceptable with this office. I'm very disappointed, this is part of GBMC and I had high expectations that they would be able to provide the best care for their patients. I believe they have failed the community, I will be looking to switch to a different office and telling friends and family to please avoid this place. read more

Ive been going to this office for almost 6yrs. 1st it was dr. Joi johnson-weaver whom i loved. Now i see dr. Myrkin. Not happy at all i called today for an appointment and the receptionist yolanda tells me she cant make me an appointment for the same thing i came in for because i havent been to physical therapy. We love Jess Sewell if we could actually make an appointment. I've been calling all day. The only way to get an appointment is to stop by the office, otherwise no one ever answers the phone. When someone calls you they leave the main number knowing that no one will ever answer. read more

I love my doctor, but this place is ridiculous. I called 5 times, leaving messages after 20+ mins on hold each time, no return call. I called back a 6th time and remained on hold for 45 mins and finally got through to make and appointment. I only needed a shot administered, so I made a 3:15 appointment for the MA. Here it is 4:30 and I am still waiting... I am told patients seeing doctors get first priority and people on the MA schedule are treated like walk-ins. Why did I make an appointment in the first place? I wish I could give 0 stars to this type of service!!! read more

If I could give this practice no stars I would. I have been going there for two years and had 3 primary care doctors. They can't keep a Dr to save their lives. I can rarely get an appointment when I need one. Last appt they were over an hour behind and I had to wait. Then an appointment for a follow up for pneumonia I'm 10 minutes late and they cancel. I have never been late or complained about anything. I am done with this God awful practice. read more

Doctors are great! Nursing staff is great! The rest of the staff leaves something to be desired. If you can't reach your doctor by portal, it is impossible to do so. Used to love it here when I first started coming, but since switching to their new software system and having to spend at least 20 minutes on hold EVERYTIME I call to get a hold of someone who doesn't return my call for 3 to 4 days, I have decided to go elsewhere. Really sucks because I always wanted my child to keep the same pediatrician. read more

I recently started seeing a Primary Care Physician at GBMC at Perry Hall because my previous PCP of 30 years retired. The PCP was wonderful. Took her time with me, answered all my questions, displayed a very caring attitude. The nurses and/or CMAs were also quite good. And having Quest Labs at this location makes seeing my PCP there very convenient. However, their policy regarding communications between the patient and the office are abysmal. On my first visit, I was given a handout that provided instructions regarding their procedure for requesting prescription refills. I was also told by the physician to call the office if I needed anything else. I have had to contact the office on several occasions and got nothing but recorded messages. Several times, I remained on hold for at least 20 minutes only to get yet another recording that said everyone was too busy to take the call and to leave a voice-mail message. I left several messages, over a period of several consecutive days, regarding each issue but never received a return call. After thinking I was going to need to transfer my care to a non-GBMC physician, I received a telephone call from one of their wonderful CMAs this morning. During our conversation, she listened to my concerns, said she would take them forward, and assured me she would get my prescription corrected and sent to my pharmacy. I was able to tell by the tone in her voice that she was truly concerned about my negative experiences and that the office was recently made aware of their communications with patients with regard to the "phone line". She went on to say that they were taking steps to improve their customer service in this regard and that everyone was hopeful that these measures would be implemented soon. At this point, I plan to continuing seeing my PCP at this office. read more
