As soon as the crew left I called to complain and they said they would be back in two days. Finally on August 23, 2021 I called after hearing nothing. They said they the lifted the canopy to 14-17 feet like on the estimate. I reminded them I asked for 20 feet. I also asked why did they not cut dead limbs. They responded that would be more money. I feel ripped off. Sox and Freeman came to day. I pointed out what had not been trimmed They agreed that there was work to be done. They came back and did a wonderful job. Exactly what I asked for. They were very friendly and steadily worked. Their clean up left my yard clean and free of debris. I withdraw my complaint and highly recommend Sox and Freeman. Jiles T.Bishop

After lots of research, we chose Mike's Tree Service (Lexington, SC) based on customer reviews. We were not disappointed! He did a free onsite estimate and it was easy to communicate with Mike. His price was the lowest of the three that we got estimates from but we did not choose him on that alone. He seemed like he really cared and was well-equipped (both with staff and equipment) to do what we needed. Mike and his crew took down three trees (and ground stumps for two of them) and did very careful trimming of an old oak that is the centerpiece of our back yard. Our yard looked better AFTER he was done than before he came!! All this in about three hours! There was nothing to clean up and we were very impressed with his work.
