Mike and his crew took down three trees (and ground stumps for two of them) and did very careful trimming of an old oak that is the centerpiece of our back yard. Despite it being Christmas Eve, Mike's Tree Service arrived when they said they would. Mike and his crew came prepared with the proper equipment and removed all three trees within 2 hours. The next available day another gentleman arrived with a stump grinder and had the stumps done within 45 minutes. Both yards were left in great condition and the price was very reasonable. We had a big oak that got damaged in that bad storm last summer and it was starting to lean way too close to the house, plus a bunch of branches hanging over the roof. They got back to me quick when I called, showed up the next day to look things over and give me a free quote. The crew came out right on time, had all their gear, and were real careful with everything. They trimmed back the overhanging stuff and took down that oak without touching the house or messing up the yard. When they were done, they cleaned up every little branch and leaf. My yard actually looked better than before they started. These guys obviously know what they're doing around here with our heat and all the storms we get. The price was straightforward and fair, no hidden fees or anything. I've already told a couple neighbors about them. If you need tree work done in Columbia, I'd definitely call them.
