So having grown up in NYC and also lived in SF I was used to a Pride Parade and am used to having to get to the route early so that I can get a good viewing spot. In Dublin I think there were about 100 times more people ( about 5000 ) IN the parade than viewing it ( 50 it seemed ).
The parade itself was decent, though small, but I was surprised that there were so few people watching it.
Colors, music and a festive atmosphere ( and good weather for the year I saw it ) were heard and felt throughout the city center.
