Not only did she stand beside me until i transitioned to my new PCP, she stayed dedicated to my care with the same compassion, respect and kindness to all of her patients. Dr. Rooks guaranteed my prescriptions were refilled, as requested by my local pharmacy. Her staff were on top of my records release request and her nurse Angela would call to let me know. I could check the pharmacy's app on my phone to verify the prescription was going through. Everyone at Tanner Primary Care made the transition as seamless as it could be, knowing I had lost my faith in the healthcare system. They are one of four physicians I trust to attempt to put their patients care first. I respect their commitment and courage. Everyone has the compassion to be able to assist and advocate for their patients. I will miss Dr Rooks. See and the physician who she took my care over from will always be missed.

I pull up in their parking lot at 7:43 only to have the scheduler call me and said they could not see me today!! Since I was a knew patient and not seen them in years. I even ask to see the Assistant Crystal I got nothing but smart#$$ replies! I said im in the parking lot, took off work and drove 18 miles one way and you wait till now to tell me!! Well if you miss a appointment of late they CHARGE YOU for visit, Well they owe me money for gas and time lost from work! Lady said she just got back from surgery leave, and fill in lady made a mistake!! she could have called me yesterday but no, she waited till I got there this am. Small claims court her I come!!

I waited in a room where i was instructed to leave my newborn in a diaper, it was freezing after over an hour just in the exam room waiting, not to mention the 1 1/2 in the waiting room we decited to leave. All the nurses were just standing around and when we told them why we were leaving and we wernt coming back they just said"ok". This was all for a well check absolute ridiculous. They also never called with any test results. And didnt even know how old she was.

I refuse to see Dr Vavrik any longer. He doesn't listen to my concerns, has forgotten my diagnosis…read more(your labs look ok, you don't need meds) and forgotten the meds he has prescribed me (oh I see you already do take meds. No wonder your labs looked ok). He is consistently tardy which culminated in today's debacle. My appointment was for 0800. I arrived at 0745. I got checked in and seen by his nurse. At 0845 I asked when I would be seen. I was the first appointment. His nurse told me she can't cover for him anymore. He was texted and called multiple times. He did not answer. She finally got through and he said he was pulling up. 20 minutes later (0905) I left and he was still not there. I asked for my medical records and will find another endocrinologist that cares for his patients and their well-being and respects that my time is just as valuable as his. At no time today did he attempt to reach me to explain why he missed my appointment. I did however receive a call from my pharmacy that all my meds had been refilled. Too bad I didn't get a chance to discuss any labs with my "doctor".
