If I arrived early, I wasn't allowed to clock in until 8, and if I stayed past 5, I had to clock out at 5 anyway--so the extra time I worked meant nothing. When I finally called off one day because of a family emergency, my boss screamed at me, cursed at me, and even threatened me instead of showing any basic respect. He told me to "stay put" while he came to snatch the work keys and throw my check at me. That's how this business treats its employees--no compassion, no professionalism, and no respect. The service at the counter is always friendly and they do have Saturday morning hours if you can't make it during the week. The biggest reason for my update and downgrade from 4 stars to 3 stars is the pricing. The pricing is to a point to where I take in a few shirts and a pair of slacks and it's $30. Crazy. I remember when it was more like $1.50 a shirt and now it's over $3.00. I've started buying more clothes that don't need dry cleaning as a result of their increases. I am not hear weekly like I'm sure some are and never have many items, but what I drop off always comes back clean undamaged and well pressed. They have never lost anything and their prices are reasonable ($2.25 an item). The turn around time is about a day.
