Her technique is difficult to explain and probably differs from patient to patient, but as a former patient dealing with the same life struggles that so many people deal with, I can say that seeing her helped me after a tragedy in my life when more traditional analytical therapists did not. I am equipped to more gracefully deal with life's issues. I now know and understand myself better. If you can get in to see her, I highly recommend it.
