Poor management by the owner-
After paying in full at booking nearly a year prior , very poor communication with so many unanswered texts and calls. Ghosted my daughter and I to the point I drove to the location to see if there was a for sale sign in the yard. After she finally start responding and apologized, things did not get better.
When she does communicate, she doesn't take good notes, so she's forgetful on the conversations and the plans that are agreed-upon. This causes a cycle during the event day, which is her becoming defensive because the basics are not met and apologizing and doing too little too late on things that we should not have even had to ask for.
Yes, there is a lot to be done the day of the event. But poor time management skills leads to her rushing around, trying to do things that should've been completed prior to arrival causing stress on everyone. Her communication during this time is downright rude. Things like the house being clean and tables and chairs set up, dead flowers all through the garden replaced should've been done before our arrival ( which was the day of the event for us)
The place has potential because of the setting, but the management ruined it for us. read more
