Nice mix of businesses. Parking is a bit tight but needs a bit of updating just like the insides of the shopping complex.

Dublin Ulferts Center certainly still retained its good reputations but it's been kinda slowly getting pushed to the side by the much newer Pacific Pearl. Some shops that used to be at Ulferts but now have moved to Pacific Pearl such as Snowflakes (traitor! Lol kidding of course), and some of my favorite restaurants that used to be here have sadly closed - such as Taiwanese restaurant Liang Mama, Szechuan restaurant Happy Family, and hotpot place Halu Shabu Shabu. However, the plaza as it currently is I think still offers a decent variety of good food options - you'd find here Kee Wah Chinese bakery, Fujiwara ramen, my favorite Thai restaurant Thai Basil Express, and probably the most famous of all would be the Dublin Koi Palace for their outstanding dim sum. Another restaurant that in my opinion has really helped keep this plaza afloat is Tasty Pot. This plaza has a pretty spacious parking space, extending all the way to the back of it, making it so much easier now for customers to find parking. It is conveniently located on Dublin boulevard and is very easy to spot. The place is generally pretty clean and organized, and I really like the water fountain they put right at the center of the plaza. Come check this place out if you're ever out here in Dublin.

This particular center is much busier than the Milpitas one. I will point out that there are more…read morerestaurants than the Milpitas location. However, the one thing that sucks is the parking. I have only been successful in finding a parking spot on two occasions. Otherwise, I have been unsuccessful in finding a parking spot. I suggest avoiding the center on the weekends as it is virtually impossible to find a parking spot.

Not many retail stores, but more fancy eateries for the upper class. There's also an Equinox, which is a famous fancy gym. Everything is almost expensive as Santana Row. Some security guards are walking around on duty. The parking garage is a bit curved when you enter and exit. I only like the Christmas tree area, which is beautiful to look at in the evening, including the water fountain in the kids' area. It's nice to walk around and take profile pictures, but not much to do until the holiday season. Overall, this is great for families to hang out and for rich people to dine in.

Shout-out to the unknown vendor who built the 2026 "Year of the Horse" photo booth. A heads-up: the space availability numbers posted outside the parking garage weren't accurate at all, which made the search more frustrating than it needed to be. It was also tough navigating through the crowds at times, especially because the toddlers in our group couldn't see anything over the crowds. That said, City Center Bishop Ranch truly offers something for everyone in the family. There's a splash pad that's perfect for little ones, plenty of restaurants at every price point for picky eaters, and even fun options for adults- like a DIY cocktail crawl for the 21+ crowd. We once made it our mission to try every margarita on property! I ran into my retired high school teacher, bartending at THE LOT (movie theater). On the shopping front, I do all my Anthropologie returns here, and I've been refreshing my inbox waiting for news about Rico Rico Taco opening here (I'm obsessed with their Oakland location). As for dining, I've enjoyed meals and treats from Slanted Door, Salt & Straw, Roam Artisan Burgers, Philz Coffee, Mendocino Farms, Marugame Udon, Delarosa, and Boba Guys. I still can't believe that sleepy San Ramon now has so many fantastic eateries and experiences all in one place. It's quickly become a go-to meeting place for our extended family.

Although Blackhawk Plaza is technically an outdoor luxury mall, I consider it more like an entertainment center that is designed to relax and de-stress. I've been coming here regularly after moving here some 7 years ago and as a new parent, looking forward to coming back. I never come here to shop, since the small boutique shops are not for me. Restaurants are okay for the most part, but you're paying more for the location. The entertainment options are great: 1. Blackhawk Auto Museum is a must for car lovers, but they also have a special China exhibit and regular natural history in their main museum. 2. Ducks everywhere! You can destress while watching them swim and dive in the giant pond, and even feed them from food from Draegers. Lots of outdoor art too dedicated to ducks and geese. 3. Century Blackhawk, at least pre COVID, is an older but great theater where all seats are luxury recliners. 4. Gigantic parking lot. 5. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with Creamistry for hot days and Starbucks for any days. For casual eats, I like Beep's Burgers. 6. A playground for kids and grassy areas. 7. A Crunch! gym and a new martial arts studio coming soon. For COVID times, they offer outdoor Zumba on Sundays. 8. These used to have outdoor concerts here Pre-Covid. Even though we're still facing the pandemic, Blackhawk Plaza still has its charms. Its sad to see so many businesses close, but the ducks are always there to cheer people up.
