This is probably the hardest venue to find. Directions included go past the silo. It's located in…read morethe West End on the other side of the railroad tracks and Lee Street. Once you find it though, it's like an oasis. It's basically a compound where artists rent studio spaces. The entrance review is pretty severe. You have to submit a portfolio and go through an interview process. There is a large warehouse that they use for the performance space. I think it used to be a textile manufacturing plant. I went for a production of Woyzeck. I liked the way the actors were all visible in the large space. They also have a little bar inside the space, and, my favorite part was this strange swing hanging from the ceiling. I spent most of my time on that! I liked the space, and now that I can find it, I'll keep going.

I attended the Saturday Chef's Market at Pullman Yards with his sister yesterday and we had a…read morespectacular time. This is a very popular and awesome experience for the whole family. There are multiple vendors, a Balloon Museum, and an indoor space for events and art with a chill lounge with images that pay homage to the history of the Pullman Porters. I strongly recommend this experience and that you arrive around 12 noon because it gets crowded quickly. Admission is free but you pay each vendor as you purchase. This is an every Saturday evening beginning at 1 p.m. through 5 p.m. EST. There is both paid and on the street free street parking on Arizona. There is no specific Yelp profile for Pullman Yards or the Chef's Market so this is the only option I could find about the venue.

I felt we should have gotten extra time to do so for that reason. Each group had like one minute to take pics in their group. Sucks for us, we had an extra person. Because of that, I didn't take my phone out and got my friend to use her phone and for her to just send to me. Each room had a theme and a WinkyLux product it represents. So, first of all, there is an entrance fee to pay when you want to go to the photogenic experience rooms. Its 10$ plus tax but well worth if you actually plan to buy any of their products since they give it back at the end to go towards your purchase. The experience - fun! Especially if you love taking photos because they have rooms set up just for that purpose! Each room features a product of winkylux and the decorations represent what the product is like. Sadly, alot of items were sold out but we were still allowed to sample them. Personally, Ive been to the Museum of Ice Cream and honestly this setup is pretty dissapointing and alittle run down compared to it, especially since they were apparently inspired by the moic concept. The lighting was meh, and they could have tried better in most of the rooms. Also, you have to constantly put your bags and coats on the floor since they didnt have a place to put your things to take a picture. The products - cant complain! I mean, nothing to rave over but considering theyre a more "economical luxury line" it wasn't half bad as in, their shadows were very pigmented and their lippy sticks were good tints! Still, it was pretty pricy. I ended up purchasing their signature ph flower balm and it was 14$ (i paid an extra 4 dollars with the 10$ credit). This only sounds reasonable if the lipstick was alittle bigger, its no bigger than a normal person's thumb. Its really tiny. The eyeshadow paletts were 25$ and single shadows were 12$. I didnt bother checking the prices of other things. It was still a fun experience for me and my friend. Its only a popup shop so its worth going to to get some cute pics and cute cosmetics.

Every time I go to a new city, I always seek out the street art. Downtown Atlanta and Buckhead do not seem to have much, if any, of it. It seems to be all concentrated in the Cabbagetown neighborhood. I took Marta out to the Inman Park station and then backtracked westward turning south through the Krog Street Tunnel. Had kind of heard about the Tunnel as well. It was not very impressive. Very schoolyard type graffiti. Once you get through the tunnel, though, JACKPOT. Murals as far as the eye can see both to the left and to the right. Each piece blends in with the one next to it. For the most part, it is just one continuous huge mural put together by different artists. Check it out of you get down to the Big Peach!
