There was a gap between our front door and we had bugs in our entry way all the time. They never sprayed for pests so I ended up doing it myself. I will say that when we had an issue with appliances the maintenance team were on it! They worked super hard. They don't have good signage on the apartments so if you are moving in or ordering something count on it getting lost. The doorway and stairs are super narrow for some reason. The parking and trash is really bad there. The trash is always overfilled and if it's windy the trash will be all over the complex. Not enough parking and if there is it's a spot in an alley behind the complex. My car had been broken into two times when I parked back there. If they try to sell you on the fact that they have balconies make sure you see it for yourself. The upstairs apts have wooden planks that haven't been cleaned or refinished in a long time. Ours had some drawings from the previous tenets kids and we would get splinters from the wood. Management is a revolving door someone is always in training and doesn't know the answer to your question if you call. They are friendly and nice but not super informative. They have made moving out even harder than moving in. It's better to spend your money on a nicer apartment :/

We have had 6 service requests since then, multiple plumbers and nothing has worked long term. The last plumber said that our water heater needed to be replaced and the lofts said they wanted a second opinion. We have an infant and have had to microwave water just to bathe him. Today they came to tell us we would have to wait a few days for the new plumber and called the gas company which said that we had a gas leak and shut off our gas. Now we have to wait for the plumber to fix it, the city to inspect it, then the gas company will come back to turn gas back on and then the plumber said after that they can come back to reattach the water heater piping. This is not going to be resolved quickly and their solution is to offer another apartment on the other side of the building for us to use to shower. This is unacceptable, having our gas off affects more than just a shower and is even harder to deal with a baby. We have asked to be let out of our lease due to uninhabitable conditions only to be told no because we never called the emergency line which was never necessary since we put in 6 service requests. It got so bad they unlocked the water heater closet for us to reset it ourselves (sometimes as many as 5x in a day) until that stopped working. They want us to pay over $1700 for us to break our lease. UNACCEPTABLE.

I've asked for make/model of the fridge along with copies of any receipts for the "damaged" things that were replaced. Since living here, the manager and the assistant manager have been friendly, professional and caring. They go out of their way to make our living experience something special. Maintenance staff is fantastic. They handle maintenance requests usually on the same day. The complex is very dog friendly and has dog stations throughout the complex. Most of the residents are responsible dog owners and pick up after their dog. The grounds are kept in excellent condition. The entire staff goes out of their way to make this community our home. I live on 3rd floor, 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment. The apartment is great size and has washer/dryer hookups/ The only draw back is the stairs to get to my third floor apartment. The good news, I have lost 11 pounds since living here and have a lot more weight to loose.
