This is MUST stop whenever we travel across the border to Niagara Falls or even just Hamilton. It's a good place to get out and stretch, take a washroom break and grab a coffee. Keep in mind if there are tour buses, the line-ups will be long for both the washrooms and food court. There is a visitor information booth, Wendy's, NY Fries, Manchu Wok, Tim Horton's, KFC/Taco Bell, Dairy Queen, Sbarro, and a convenience store. Washrooms are clean unless it's super busy. We normally arrive very early in the morning, and then again, on our way home. They are also open 24 hours a day. Exit: Casablanca Blvd

Husband and I usually don't stop when we go to Toronto, but today we decided to use this rest stop. I don't know if it was because it's a Sunday, but there weren't a lot of stores open. This place looks like a circular food court with about 8+ different options. There were only about 2-3 open today and the rest of them were closed. :/ I think the main store people go to here is the drive-thru Tim Hortons. The restrooms were pretty gross too. The toilets in the women's restrooms were really low and the seats were not cleaned. The restroom was really dark and cramped. I don't know why this place has such great reviews. :(

I loved this rest stop. Once inside there's a little of everything. A great and informative tourist info area. Then a restaurant for everyone - Wendy's, Tim Hortons, a fries place, a Chinese place, a Mediterranean one and probably some I'm missing. There are tables in the middle, it's more or less a round place, and they were clean when I was there. The restrooms are clean. The parking lot is what gets me to 3 stars only. It's just difficult. Unclear how to get in or out. The drive through lanes are in the middle of the lot. Busses everywhere. It's just plain difficult. So loosing a star there.

Stopped here for Tim Hortons breakfast on the way to Niagara, and the quality of the food and beverages were below average. Tea was poorly made twice and when asked for double toasted bagels, we were given less than toasted.

On my way down from Toronto to Niagara Falls, me and my bf stopped at this rest stop for a quick breakfast and some gas.

My friend and I did the Journey Behind the Falls and had dinner at the Table Rock Restaurant here as well as walking around, enjoying the gorgeous views, and shopping in their nice gift shops. The entire experience was excellent and I will recommend everyone come here to spend an afternoon - then, when it gets dark, to come back to see fireworks and watch the falls lit up at night. Love!

Thrilling attractions and interactive exhibits, riverfront hiking trails, and delectable dining options. While I was here, I spent time exploring many of the trails throughout the park with gorgeous views of nature that was well maintained. The park has amazing views of the falls. I participated in the Cave of the Winds experience where I descended 175 feet into the Niagara Gorge and feel the water flowing off the Falls from the Hurricane Deck. I got a ticket to the Niagara Falls State Park Observation Tower where I saw the only panoramic view of all three cataracts that comprise Niagara Falls, including the American Falls. I ate at Top of the Falls Restaurant that offers American-fare lunch and dinners and a panoramic view of the Falls. You can access The Maid of the Mist boat tour in Niagara Falls, N.Y. From the park. I did not purchase tickets for this experience since I rode the boat on the Canada side. I spent almost the entire day here and could have spent even more time exploring the trails and the Schoellkopf Power Station ruins site if I didn't have a time restriction. Definitely a must see natural wonder.

In fact, if you are a nature lover, you are going to enjoy this place so much more than you will the more heavily landscaped walk on the Canadian side. There are more trails here, more places and opportunity for a quiet walk, and other than right in the thick of it where most people will congregate for a falls view, it can be quite peaceful. The walks are all in good condition, and the park is clean. The parking is a fair price of "admission" to the park and is convenient to most of it. You'll still find plenty of wooded area and small wildlife to observe. There is of course a more tourist catering section around the main falls with food and gift shop, as well as kitschy things to stick you head through and take pictures. All in all, it's a nice place to spend a couple hours.
