I was pleasantly surprised that they had the pineapple cider I had just driven out of town to get. I like being able to smoke in the bar too. For all you non-smokers I'm sorry but you have enough places that smoking is banned in....leave us a few places to go and relax. If you dont like the sell of smoke then dont go. They have pool tables and if you play fast games then the $5 and hour is a good deal but if you suck like I do then one game is usually 30 min lol then it is a bit pricey....but all in all not to shabby. There is also a shuffle board game to be played by the door too.

This place is amazing. We visited on a Friday evening and tried to visit as many of the vendors as…read morewe could. First, we got kids meals at Buyamba Sandwich Company, located in the west hall portion of the market. Kids meals are either a turkey and cheese sandwich or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, plus chips, fruit snacks and a Capri Sun. Pretty much everything that a child could want for a meal, and my kids were more than satisfied. Next, we got a couple of drinks at The Charlie Horse, one of the bars. They have Sun King beer on tap, but I think that was the only local beer. It's difficult for me to pass up Korean food when I see it, so I decided my meal would be bibimbap from Seoul Garden. I got my bibimbap with beef, a lot of gochujang with a fried egg on top. The vegetables were cooked but still crunchy, and everything was great. We also got a burrito from Pikoso, and that was great, too. I don't have much to say about it because I didn't get to taste it, but I was told it was tasty. Lastly, we got scoops of ice cream at Local Apple Cart, which is a little stand that makes its ice cream with locally grown fruit. I got a scoop of vanilla and the blueberry ice cream, which was super purple and vibrant. A couple of things to note: There's one pizza joint in here (Johnny Ox Pizzeria) and they only sell pizza by the slice during lunch, and full pizzas during dinner time. That was a bummer because we really wanted a slice, but we were foiled. The pizzas are huge, too. Most of the merchants in the east hall were closed, which was a bummer. These included the fresh food market, a seafood and meat market, and an Amish deli and bakery. I was kind of surprised that they weren't open on a busy Friday, but so it goes. When we visited, there was a trivia game going on, which was neat. There is so much seating in this food hall. We sat upstairs, where we could get a good view of the bustling happenings down below. There are tables, but also chairs and a few couches. The lighting is nice and mellow, too, but the noise can get overwhelming because the hall is very tall and the sound carries. Plus, there was music playing, so it was pretty loud in there. At the entrance, be sure to look around you -- you'll see some really cool murals on the walls.

I've been to USM several times and realized I have not done a review…read more.. USM is such a cool concept and has so much potential, but it's just never busy... It definitely has that big city market feel, but I just don't know if it's gonna work for FW? It's a well decorated place with eclectic vibes and a few nice shops/vendors. The problem imo has been that the vendors turn over so fast and never seem to make it... Whether it's overly expensive rent, not enough foot traffic, or it being on the edge of the sketchy part of town, I suspect USM has an uphill battle to really "make it" - Sure hope the place succeeds because it's got a ton of potential. If visiting, recommend the lil Thai vendor or Johnny Ox Pizza... Two of the better places at USM.

Because it's all open I suspect it would be very loud with more people. We were there early and there weren't many people. The service was good. But half of our food was dry and over cooked. The Cuban was good. The pulled pork sandwich was good. That pork had sauce on it and wasn't dry. The pulled pork dinner meal was served without sauce on it and was very dry. The sauce on the side was very runny and lacked flavor. The fries were basic. The garlic bread was tiny and also over cooked. The chicken tenders were dry and overcooked. We chose this 'side' because it was quieter than the Village Tap (sports bar) side. They offer the same menu. There is outdoor seating and parking in the rear. We have wanted to try this place for sometime and we're sad it didn't live up to expectations.

Two different companies. This facility has taken over a small house right on Wells Street. There is street parking. You could probably park at the Headwaters church if there are not steer spots. Inside the dinning area is wide open, clean and inviting. The decor is different everywhere you look. Nice touch! The drinks come from the Tough Tap Room. I Gad the watermelon mojito which had a very refreshing taste. My daughter had the hoppy water. She liked the slight beer flavoring without the alcohol. The pizzas here are very good. In general the pizza is slightly thin but has a bit of a chewy crust. The crust appears to be well cooked but still comes out moist and tasty. All pizzas are 12 inches in size. A 12" pizza is enough for two people to share. The Bhan Mi pizza has a nice Thai taste. The topping were very fresh and the sauce has a bit of a zip to it. The meat pizza had plenty of toppings. The Italian sausage and pepperoni had a good spice to go along with the cheese. The Packed Supremo pizza was a nice "supreme" option. There were plenty of veggie and meat toppings. Give these two places a try!
