They usually have good sales and the employees are nice. They layout of the store in convenient enough and everything is easy to find. They also have all the major brands, almost always in stock. Even though they have several positives in store I am giving them 2 stars because of the following. Firstly, if you purchase ANYTHING produced in the meat cutting area, you must cook it that that day. On multiple occasions I have purchased meat products that have spoiled on the way home, or overnight in the fridge. Considering the price of meat this is simply unacceptable. Secondly, management obviously does not care what the cashiers do with their time. I stop here a lot on the way home and I can honestly say there are probably 2 out of 5 cashiers at any point in time that care about their quality of work on any given day. While the young men of the store are working hard in the back of the store to ready the stockers (who are also young men) to do their busy job of keeping shelves properly displayed and stocked, these young ladies are left completely unsupervised. As young people do they spend the majority of their time socializing and playing on their phones rather than helping their customers. A display of complete and utter unprofessionalism. The owners/operators are also no prize workers. I know of a former employee who was denied a raise for absolutely no reason. Another employee, who had cut the end of his finger off during his shift in the meat department, was told if he didn't return to work the following day he would need to find another job. In short, you would be better off going literally anywhere else. read more
