Then he looked down at the paperwork and said my insurance wouldn't cover it, so it was my responsibility. I have excellent insurance with minimal co-pay or deductable, and the insurance has paid the lion share of my chiropractic treatments forever, but I am pretty sure this suggested $285 charge was nonsense. I have been to more than a dozen chiropractors on a regular basis for the same issue for over 30 years both in the US and Europe. I get an adjustment and I am back on my feet. This $285 deal seemed more like a con, than a chiropractor visit. So I left without a treatment, he wouldn't adjust me unless I accepted this ludicrous $285 "exam". This was not a good experience.

Then she put me through videos in a room with a very pregnant woman. After the video, she came in and presented to both me and the pregnant lady an x-ray of an unknown woman. Then I was xrayed and given the diagnosis of back subluxation. I warily let her adjust me, and drove home. Getting out of the car, I was seized with horrible low back pain! Remember I presented with left hip pain. The next day I returned for what became my second and final visit. Her associate chiropractor was horrified to hear I was much worse than when I first came for treatment. Finally Donna Sanders came in to see me and told me it was my own fault for not keeping up with my adjustments over the years. DON'T GO THERE!
