I promised my kids that we would go get slurpees and buy the shark straws that they had been begging me for. Come to find out we got there and they DID NOT HAVE THEM. I was very upset because I drove about 30 minutes one way to get there only to be let down. I called the corp office and filed a complaint because of what happened. They had Ann from the Lem Turner store call me back. She stated she didn't have any of the shark straws but was trying to see if there was anything else I would like that she still had. Some of the items and straws she had were from previous promotions and my family loved. We agreed to come in and buy them that Monday which was my sons birthday (7-11). When we showed up her and JJ the regional director/field consultant were standing there with the shark straws that he had been trying to get! He apparently found them in St. Augustine and drove them all the way to this side of town just to make me happy (which I was!). I'm sorry this is so late but I wanted to let Ann and JJ that my family really appreciates what you both have done for us! My son got his 7-11 birthday slurpee, his birthday cookie, a Star Wars cup and his shark straw that he uses with all of his slurpee's!

Gas is usually only about a penny more than other gas stations in the area like Gate and Racetrac. Sometimes, when traffic is busy on Dunn Avenue, it's easier to stop here and pay the extra penny rather than trying to cross over to the other side of the road and stop somewhere. Unless you're just wanting to make a quick stop for gas because it's convenient, I'd go to the Gate or Racetrac because you'll find a lot more in those stores, they're a lot bigger, and they are a lot cleaner.

Even…read morethough the convenience store is small, they do get pretty busy and don't have many pumps, so finding a pump can, at times, be challenging. The parking lot is clean. There's a car wash and you'll also find an air pump here. As I said, the convenience store is small. The selection of items is not very large. If you just need to grab a drink or a small snack, you're good. The store is surprisingly clean. I'm not entirely sure if there are bathrooms here. While I was in the store, I didn't notice them, but I also wasn't looking for them. There's a possibility they may be located outside and I've just never seen them, but again, I've never looked for them. If I'm in need of a restroom, I go a bit farther down the street to the Gate Station or the 7-Eleven. I also go to one of those places if I'm needing drinks or snacks. If I'm just needing gas, this place is as good as any to get it. Especially since it's a Shell and I can use my Winn Dixie Rewards Card here to get my gasoline discount.

Marathon Gas Station…read more Unfortunately, I have to give this Marathon 2 stars. First issue was that you cannot pay at the pump. I had to go inside, and when I tried the first door it was locked, the other one was open. That was the start. Inside, I had to prepay for gas. The clerk asked how much, suggested forty dollars, but gas is pretty inexpensive in this area, so I said thirty. My car only took about fifteen dollars worth of gas, so I had to go back inside again to get my change and receipt. That is two trips in and out just to finish up. I also used the restroom and that was not a good experience. The door would not close or lock properly and the whole restroom felt run down. To be honest, if I had been with my family and kids, I would not have gone in there. I would have gone somewhere else for sure The gentleman working was actually very nice and kind, and that is the only reason I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1. He did what he could, but the setup, the prepay situation, and especially the restroom really bring this location down. Next time I would probably go across the street.
