Had the good fortune of finding the Gate through a friend I needed extensive work done , a replacement of an old bridge in my top teeth which involved a total of 10 teeth . I am nervous of dentistry, that's why I am so happy with finding this place. They are always so mindful of ensuring I am comfortable, relaxed and most importantly for me - pain free. The staff are so friendly, from the receptionists, the dentist and the hygienist - I have had nothing but positive experiences. I used to not smile because I was embarrassed by my teeth. I travel 3 hours each way for my visits to Dr Paul Moore at Gate Clinic because I won't go anywhere else. He's been my dentist for I think 17 years now and i hope he'll never retire because I don't think I could go anywhere else. The clinic is very welcoming and I see a hygienist there about twice a year who gives me great dental care advice that i never manage to follow. read more

Every time I get my teeth done at the Gate, I'm so impressed. The clinic is central and easy to get to, and i find the booking and text reminders convenient. The front desk staff are always professional and friendly, remember me by name and greet me with a smile - thanks Claire and team! The clinic is bright, clean and airy, and has a relaxed feel to it. The appointments always run on time, which I appreciate a lot. My hygeniest is thorough and helpful, and has always given me great advice as she works. Dr. Moore is amazing - he has a great sense of humor and always puts me at ease. It's obvious that his team knows what they're doing and enjoy working together - they are caring and helpful, and help you settle in, even if you're nervous. Dr. Moore has helped me with a lot of dental work over the years, all of it outstanding. I am confident in his dentistry, and happy to go to a clinic that takes care of me so well, and has consistently won so many awards in Ireland. Instead he told me how it would be a nuisance and hard to do because he would have to take the previous bonding off to rebound the teeth - that isn't my problem. All I wanted is to get them temporarily fixed up again before I can look at more long term solutions. There is no way I would opted to get this done at the Gate Clinic if I had known that I would be extremely unhappy with the results from day 1 (I had to move abroad so I couldn't go back to tell them). Absolutely NO aftercare advise would be given to me. In the door, got the procedure done and then paid my money - that was it. There was barely a shake of a hand! I would be, in my opinion, lied to. As aforementioned, I was and still am on a tight budget due to financial restrictions, so bonding is the perfect temporary solution for me before I can actually afford to pay for something more expensive and long-term such as veneers. To be given absolutely no choice with regard to getting it done again and to hear extreme contradictions about this supposed 5 year warranty has certainly solidified the fact that I will never return to the Gate Clinic again, even if I was to be offered it for free now. It was, all in all, a very bad experience. I will now be looking elsewhere to get Dr.Moore's work redone. read more
