I know this is weirdly specific, but I forgot to pack my Biofreeze and my back was out after lifting heavy suitcases soooo I sought out a health store. Their prices were quite high but they did carry Biofreeze...which I needed that very moment. Phew. Staff members were helpful with other requests, and I'd say Evergreen is a nice alternative to a traditional drug store. LOVE this store! The staff is so nice and helpful. They routinely wander the aisles to see if anyone needs help. I personally love that kind of customer service. Especially when going into an unfamiliar store. They have a fantastic selection of vegan foods in a wall cooler in the back. I really love the vegan yogurt choices. Try the CoYo at least once. Best vegan yogurt I've ever tasted. I think they're prices are very reasonable for the quality products they carry. read more

I frequent this store whenever I'm in Galway as they have probably one of the best selections of health foods, herbal supplements and oils, teas, dried products and even cosmetics like Trilogy and Seavite. The main thing I like buying here is the Clearspring Japanese products like miso, soba and nori, as well as things like brown rice, soya milk, chia seeds, quinoa etc. For anyone vegan or vegetarian, you can find a lot of goodies here. They also sell a range of sports supplements such as protein powders and bars. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable about the products, so they're great if you need any advice! read more
