It was more than worth it. Family run and full of locals, super nice servers whose English was plenty good enough to convince me to try the pork shoulder, their specialty. It was amazing! My husband's schnitzel was also top notch and their French fries are to die for. Bottom line a gem of a place that surprised and delighted us.

They have a decent beer garden if weather permits and offer freshly brewed beers. Schweinebraten/pork roast, Schaeuffle/shoulder roast and Brotzeit/variety of local cold cuts are the way to go. Don't expect great service...but, it's the food, beer and Gemuetlichkeit that counts. Best to take a short ride with the Taxi from downtown.
