Executive director Pouya and marketing coordinator Marissa are just wonderful. They go out of their way to attend to the residents. I have made many friends here and there are lots of activities. My favorite is bingo and rummikub. There is always something to do. Outdoor excursions, shopping shuttle on Friday's. There is nothing to want here. Everything is all taken care of.

And our father was extremely pleased to be a resident and member of the community. The one thing that stood out for him and our family was the relationships that were formed with all levels of staff. Our father referred to Oakmont as his family. Our father spend the last 9 months of his life at Oakmont. Each day was different with many things that were offered and available to him. He took the bus tours, he played (and a force to be reckoned with) Bingo. He started a putting club and got people interested in putting around on a green. He enjoyed the entertainment that came in regularly for "sing song" as he like to say. And he really enjoyed the themed holiday decorations that came out. He felt a part of. The care staff did a fabulous job keeping him informed and with any kind of assistance. When he had a question they were eager to help. Everyone knew his name and he appreciated being recognized and talked to like a friend or family member. Anything he needed was taken care of. Any questions that came up, the staff communicated with our family and were also available to answer any of our questions. The Chef and Dining experience. Oakmont of Fair Oaks did not serve "restaurant" food each day. They served gourmet meals that were very delicious. The staff formed relationships with our father and he came to have a standing order, "the usual". For the holidays we as his family were invited in to share in holiday celebrations. If you appreciate direct and open communication with your questions answered or additional clarification needed from the family. And you value the forming of relationships, personal relationships, Oakmont of Fair Oaks did both of those with our father and my brother and I. My father felt as though he was at home and could spend the remaining months of his life with people who cared about him.

Having been there, I know how hard this transition can feel. I don't have enough words to express the difference Ophelia, and the staff at Phoenix Manor of Fair Oaks CA have made in both my Mother's life, and that of our family . My Mom has been a resident at Phoenix Manor for the past 3 years. We chose this place after an exhaustive, and often demoralizing search of other facilities. Once I met Ophelia, I knew our search was over. The care, love, and attention she gives her residents is a beautiful thing to witness. They truly do become apart of her family. Everyone is treated with so much empathy and respect, and cared for as individuals with individual needs. Before we moved Mom in, we were free to personalize her room with things she loved from home. This made the transition so much smoother. The food at Phoenix Manor is home cooked, healthy, and delicious. The home is kept immaculate, and all the residents are tended to with T.L.C. Ophelia was even available to help with Doctor appointments. Mom's quality of life was greatly improved by her time spent there. My Mom had many struggles, especially in the last few months of her life. It would have been impossible to navigate them or provide proper care at home. The dignity and care with which was provided by the Phoenix Manor team are immeasurable. As she entered the final days of her life, words fail in describing the gratitude I feel for the amount of love, tenderness and compassionate care she received from everyone at Phoenix Manor. We have laughed and cried together, and everyone there will hold a special place in our hearts forever.

I asked her how she liked it, and she graciously shared her experience. She mentioned that her dad has been living there for almost a year, and although she lives out of state, she has been able to receive updates, which puts her mind at ease since their family moved him in. Although my mom was never able to move in (she passed away in the hospital), I knew this would have been the perfect place for her. When Daniel found out about my mom's passing, he sent flowers to my family. He truly cares, and I appreciate how involved his family is. During my tour, I was offered a plate of fresh fruit and encouraged to enjoy tea with the family. It's the little details that matter to me. Thank you, Daniel, for being so kind during a tough time in my life.

The residents there are super nice and we talked to each of them to make sure they enjoyed being there and they definitely did. The place is clean, new and current and the staff is so friendly, professional and responsive. The food is homemade, fresh everyday. This is a family owned well run business and it's apparent that the owner and his family cares for the residents. My Mom already told me multiple times how different family owners spent time with her just talking with her. To me that's above and beyond the call of duty, and she loves it there. They communicate when needed to make sure my Mom is taken care of. I wouldn't hesitate to bring your loved one here.

When the…read morehospital planned to discharge him, we realized he wasn't ready to go home alone and would need assistance to regain his strength. We toured Carlton Senior Living and were impressed with the facility. However, after less than three weeks, we discovered it wasn't suitable for him and moved him out. While the staff were friendly, the place was clean, the food was good, and the grounds were pleasant, it was not a fit for someone like my father that needed more assistance. Knowing what I do now, the place is ideal for those who want to avoid housework, engage in activities, and not cook. Unfortunately, it wasn't the right fit for someone needing assistance with basic tasks like using the bathroom or showering. My dad required more help, which led to significant additional costs--almost doubling the original quote. The staff didn't respond quickly enough when he needed assistance. On one occasion, he needed assistance and couldn't wait any longer for help. He tried to get up by himself and fell, hitting his head and requiring paramedics. I also requested multiple times that his night lamp be connected to the Alexa outlet for voice control, but that never happened. He was frustrated with the lack of assistance, in a timely manner, so we looked for alternatives. After moving him out, I was shocked to receive a bill for over $10,000 more than expected. This added to the emotional stress I was already experiencing. After pointing this out, the bill was corrected but I should not have had to do their accountants job. We eventually moved my father to a board-and-care residential facility, which is providing the care he truly needs, and I wish we had made that choice from the beginning.

Thank you guys for really putting the residents first!

I can't say enough good things about All Seasons. First I will start with Toly the owner . From the time I reached out, he was attentive, communicative and kind. He spent so much time with me, easing my fears and worries that we would find the right place for my dad. He kept me updated all along the way with the waiting process. And he gave me such good advice during the time we were waiting for a spot to open up for my dad. I will never forget the kindness and compassion and dignity he showed our family along the entire process. Second, Lauren, the house manager at the home my dad was in. From day one, she came alongside my dad-really wanting to know him, to understand him, and to help him thrive during his time at All Seasons. Her care and love for dementia patients and their families is second to none. I was constantly amazed at not only her patience and kindness towards my dad (who was very difficult a lot of time) but also to us as his family who were trying to navigate the difficult behaviors and circumstances surrounding his disease. We will forever be indebted with gratitude that my dad had Lauren as his caregiver and advocate for the last part of his life. Also, Hector, Lilly, Melissa and so many more. All the caregiver at All Seasons seemed to be called to care for these special patients. My dad had previously been in a large memory care. For everyone there-it was a job and only that. Not at All Seasons. They hire only those who truly care about patients living with dementia. As a nurse of 28 years, I can whole heartedly recommend All Seasons for your loved one with dementia.
