You'd be surprised how crowded this place can get in such a small town! Great staff and atmosphere, flowing beer and very solid German favorite dinner selections that are delicious. The room was large and with the bedroom separated. The breakfast was great and included with the room. Plenty of parking is available. The bad was that the room was an old style (even though the bed was very comfy), but thats typical for alot of hotels in Germany. And the shower pressure was horrible. Its not located near the center or downtown, but its great to relax and enjoy some quiet time. I would stay here again

I had already done the touristy thing at the historic Brathouse on the Danube river here but that reminded me more of Nuremberg sausages, the small ones. These were full size, and seem to be more indicative of the Regensburg sausage. They have four taps with local homemade beer. Service was fine and the waitress spoke English. I would definitely come back. Also, I posted the sign with the Bavarian breakfast. White wurst and a beer! Not a bad deal.

We found this with a quick little Google search and it was very close to our hotel. We got right in and had a great waiter named Martin. The service was great. The food was very good. The first day I got the chicken Cordon Bleu and it was delicious. The second night I got a pork roast dish with a mushroom gravy and cheese spaetzle. My mom, the first night had pumpkin soup and the second night also had the goulash. We enjoyed our meals very much and would recommend. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great as well. It felt authentic, and the servers also wore authentic German outfits as well so that was fun.

Only my brother and sister-in-law speak German and most employees didn't speak English. It was a little difficult to decipher things a couple times, but everyone was EXTREMELY helpful. Two of our three rooms were upgraded automatically because of a wedding party that would have kept people awake (my room was in a different building, so not a problem). Everything was well appointed and comfortable. Their hearts/love theme was carried throughout the property very well and didn't seem kitschy. Breakfast was yummy traditional German fare: 3 minute eggs, breads, meats, cheeses, yogurt and fruit. All in all, a good place to stay that was a good value!
