The schnitzel, while served as two pieces versus one giant piece, was decently (but not perfectly) executed. Crispy, somewhat tender meat (could have been more tender) and a very flavorful sauce with fresh mushrooms. The spätzle was soft and buttery. Almost melted in my mouth. Can't go wrong with a nice Pilsner to wash it all down.

Take the time to locate this gem outside the main tourist area and you won't regret it. It's in a very residential neighborhood and frequented almost exclusively by locals.
