We stayed two nights for a family event nearby.
It is a very nice building, nice rooms, but in some respects short of practical standards for a hotel room. I am talking about shelf space, towel hangers, a soap container for the shower, and other trivia. I was shocked that there was no telephone in the room, but then realized that was a good thing. It gave me an excuse to skip an international conference call.
Since this is a guest house, not a hotel, the house rules are a wee bit restrictive, but manageable. Breakfast buffet excellent. Friendly, but minimal staff. The boss is a little bossy. read more
